The fifth free title update is now available for "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break". Video and new monsters have been released.

Nintendo Switch/Steam "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" is a very large expansion content for "Monster Hunter Rise. Today, April 20 (Thursday), the fifth free title update (Ver. 15) was released. In addition to the appearance of Amatsumagatsuchi the Storm Dragon and Shagarmagara the Puppet Overcoming, two new ancient dragons have been added to the Puppet Investigation Quest.

In addition, the level limit for the Puppet Extermination Quest has been extended to 300, the highest level, and a new item has been added to the Maka Alchemy, among many other updates to the Puppet Extermination Research content.

New Monsters
Amatsu Magatsuchi, the storm dragon
An ancient dragon that manipulates the weather and evokes storms. Also known as "Arashi Ryu.

It stays in the air by riding the air currents generated by its flying membrane, and its leisurely drifting appearance makes it appear as if it is flying in the sky.
The storm it wears is as powerful as a calamity, turning its surroundings to ashes. Because of its threat, it is referred to in some places as "the Great Calamity.
When Amatsumagatsuchi shows his true power, the storm that surrounds him intensifies in intensity, and lightning pours down around him.

Shagarumagara Overcoming the Puppet Problem, the individual that overcomes the puppet problem of "Shagarumagara, the Heavenly Dragon.
Shagarumagara is a dragon that bears the name of "Overcoming Puppet Disturbance.

Hunt monsters added in Ver. 15 and use their materials to produce and strengthen new weapons and armor.
The Amatsumagatsuchi quest requires MR 10 or more, while the Shagarmagara quest requires MR 180 or more.

Two new "Kugutsui Koryu" appear in the "Kugutsui Investigation Quest"!
Balfaluk and Shagarmagara have been added to the "Puppet Overcoming Balfaluk" and "Puppet Overcoming Shagarmagara" quests. These are very high difficulty quests, so challenge them to test your skills.

*Quests will be added to the "Puppet Research Quests" with a Puppet Research Level of 241 or higher.
The quest will be drawn for "Puppet Research Quest" when your level of research is 131 or higher.
*The monster corresponding to the rank must be defeated within MR's quest.

■New event quests with special rewards
From the week following the Ver. 15 update delivery, a series of event quests with special clear rewards, such as additional layered equipment and pose sets, will be available!
