Kawayagi Shoujo," a romantic comedy about a girl who is not very good at talking, will become a TV anime next spring! Nanako Yukihiro will be played by Kana Hanazawa!

Kawayagi Shoujo" serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) will be adapted into a TV anime in spring 2019.

Kawayagi Shoujo" is a manga by Masakuni Igarashi about willow trees. Nanako Yukihira is a girl who is not very good at talking, so she writes 575 willow poems to communicate with others. Despite his yankee appearance, Eiji Busujima is a former delinquent boy who is gentle at heart. This romantic comedy depicts the daily lives of these two, which are spun with 17 syllables.

In conjunction with the decision to adapt the work into an anime, a key visual depicting Nanako Yukihiro as the main character was unveiled. It was also revealed that Kana Hanazawa will play the role of Nanako Yukihiro. A comment from Ms. Hanazawa has also arrived.

The main staff was also announced, with Masato Jimbo of "CHAOS;CHILD" and "Isekai Shokudo" fame as director and series composition, and Maki Hashimoto as character designer. Animation production will be handled by CONNECT.
