Osomatsu-san" is an original anime produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on Fujio Akatsuka's hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun," which was published in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts the six children as scum and NEETs who have become adults. The second season aired from October 2015 to March 2016 and from October 2017 to March 2018. The work became so popular that it became a social phenomenon, being nominated for a "buzzword award" in 2016. It became a popular title with its aggressive gags and parodies, portrayal of the six children's diverse personalities, and use of popular male voice actors, and has been developed into a wide variety of products, as well as major collaborations with convenience stores and JRA, and even into game applications and stage productions.
The movie version of "Eiga no Osomatsu-san" is based on Fujio Akatsuka's classic gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" and is a completely new movie version of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," which depicts six children who are scum and neat as adults, but are somehow lovable, and will be shown nationwide on March 15, 2019.

The film version of "Eiga no Osomatsu-san" postrecording official report
The TV anime "Osomatsu-san" began airing in October 2015 and quickly became popular for its shocking gags.
Since then, the series has developed in a variety of ways, including special programs, the broadcast of a second season, and various collaborations, but now it is finally being made into a movie!
The movie will be titled "Eiga no Osomatsu-san" (The Movie Osomatsu-san) and will be a "completely new movie version".
The movie will be released on March 15, 2019 (Friday), and is currently in production. In parallel with the production of the animation, the voice actors were dubbing a recording session on a certain day in November.
Each part was tested before being put into production.
Takahiro Sakurai (Osomatsu), seated in the center of the U-shaped couch, exudes the dignity of the eldest son!
In between scenes involving animals, he would talk about the "Sakurai-san who is hated by animals" episode, making the mood more relaxed.
He also took the initiative to ask the sound director for help when the six of us had to join in on a line, such as "Shall we say the last note?
It seems that his eldest son-like personality was also on display on the set.
Yuichi Nakamura (Karamatsu) was impressive in the way he gave the characters on screen a good scolding.
When Yoshi Ueda (played by Yohji Ueda) played the role of the nihilistic character of the double, or when Aya Endo (played by Totoko) explained how cute Totoko was, he responded with a nice tskkomi, "What's with this character (laughs)?
The other cast members were also excited by her words and actions, creating a good atmosphere on the set.
He also said with a wry smile, "I'm really not good at singing...," before the singing scene, but during the recording, he sang with his shoulders swaying! I could sense the depth of Nakamura-san's affection for "Osomatsu-san!
Hiroshi Kamiya (who plays Choromatsu) also threw himself into the singing scene!
Just before the performance, he suddenly sang in high spirits in the booth as the cast members returned one after another, warming up the atmosphere.
He played the role of Choromatsu, a high school student, in full swing, drawing laughter from the sub-control room.
The cast members who were frustrated that they couldn't say it well were followed up with, "No, no, no, you did it!He was also very attentive to those around him.
Please take care of me! every time the show began.
He was very energetic, which is something that I would not expect from Ichimatsu, and he really got into the spirit of the show.
He was such a mood-maker that even the sound director said, "Now everyone is cheered up! The sound director was so energized by his performance that he said, "Now everyone is in high spirits!
I could sense his respect as an actor in the way he treated others, from the way he kindly encouraged the junior voice actors to the way he watched with a serious eye as Nobuo Tobita (Dayon), who freely manipulated his voice, recorded a few minutes of excerpts.
Daisuke Ono (as Jyushimatsu) has a serious air that is the complete opposite of Jyushimatsu's character!
He seemed to be trying not to lose his concentration for the long recording session!
However, when it came time to start the actual performance, the changeover was brilliant! He was looking at the script with a serious expression on his face, but the moment he stepped in front of the microphone, he became Jyushimatsu, delivering killer words that made the other cast members burst into laughter. There was also a moment of relief when he handed the microphone over to Momoko Saito (playing Hatabo), who was having trouble getting into the microphone and crying from behind, "I can't get in, Jo~~!
As usual, Miyu Irino (who plays Todomatsu) was smiling at Jushimatsu.
In other scenes as well, he would find a point in the story that made him laugh and would say to the cast member who said it, "That was excellent! and motivating each other.
Even Mr. Irino was impressed by Todomatsu's sharp moves, which suddenly reached a boiling point, and even received envious glances from the audience!
He also rubbed the shoulder of Kenichi Suzumura (played by Iyami) and sparked a conversation with Yuki Kunitate (played by Chibita) by asking, "Which one of you is going to get the microphone here? I felt the actor's meticulous attention to detail as he communicated with many of the cast members during the postrecording session.
Thus, the postrecording proceeded smoothly and carefully.
The recording took a long time, as it was a completely new episode, but the cast kept their concentration until the end, and the recording was completed without incident.
The entire cast put their whole heart and soul into their performance throughout the entire episode, so please be sure to check out the movie version for yourself!
Comment from Takahiro Sakurai, who plays Osomatsu!
The story was so overwhelming that I could say, "Japan, this is Osomatsu.
Look forward to the release of the film in 2023! Eh! It's next year! (Osomatsu: Takahiro Sakurai)
