Tatsunoko Productions' new original animation "Egaonodaika," which will begin airing in January 2019, has announced detailed broadcast information and released a promotional spot video featuring the opening theme song.

Egaonodaika" is a new original animation project for the 55th anniversary of Tatsunoko Productions, which has produced "Time Bokan: The Three Villains Attack" and "Infini-T Force". The talented production team includes Toshimasa Suzuki, director of "Rinne no Lagrange," Naoto Nakamura, character designer for "High School Fleet," and Shinichi Inozume of "PERSONA5 the Animation" fame as series composition. The story centers on two heroines in completely different positions, and tells the story of two people who were never meant to meet until their "smiles" overlap.

The earliest broadcast date is WOWOW's January 4, 2019 (Friday) at 21:30 (first episode broadcast free of charge), and it will be broadcast sequentially on TOKYO MX and Yomiuri TV from January 7 (Monday). A promotional spot video featuring the opening theme song "Egao no Kanata" sung by Chiho feat. majiko is also on view. Please be sure to watch the video, which includes a new cut of the theme song.
