Daigo Keikou CV:Naoya Uchida
<Comments from Naoya Uchida
I am very happy to be able to participate in "Dororo", one of Tezuka's best-known animations, and to have been given the opportunity to play a character with such a strong impact as Kageshitsu Daigo. I sincerely hope that as many people as possible will be able to see the 2019 version of "Dororo".
He is the Lord of the Land of Daigo and father of Hyakkimaru and Tahomaru. For the prosperity of his territory, he made a deal with 12 demon gods and offered his own child, Hyakkimaru, as a price. He is a very cold-hearted and determined ruler.
Tahomaru CV: Shoya Chiba
<Comment from Shoya Chiba
I never thought I would be able to be involved in a work based on Tezuka-sensei's original story, and I am truly honored.
When I read the original story before the audition, I was breathtakingly moved by the spectacular background of Hyakkimaru, and I was also impressed by the way the story transcends generations and attracts people's hearts.
I also want to express the conflict of Taiho Maru, who is a boy, but is not allowed to be so.
I will do my best to make the work an opportunity to remain in people's hearts in the future, so that even those of you who have loved it for a long time will find it fresh and new.
Son and successor of Keimitsu. He is also Hyakkimaru's younger brother. Unlike Hyakkimaru, he grew up in Daigo's mansion without any inconvenience. He is an honest man and respects his father who led his territory to prosperity.
Jukai CV: Akio Otsuka
<Akio Otsuka commented: "It is still early in the recording process.
Although we are still in the early stages of recording, I am looking forward to the completion of this fascinating work.
I also hope you enjoy Jukai, who I play.
He is a doctor who picked up Hyakkimaru when he was washed down the river. He is Hyakkimaru's foster parent and godfather. He gave Hyakkimaru a fake body and the art of fighting and surviving against monsters.
Sewing no Kata CV: Nakamura Chie
<Comments from Chie Nakamura> "I love Osamu Tezuka's works.
I am very honored to be cast in my favorite Osamu Tezuka's work!
I would like to play the role of Sewing no Kata in my own way, valuing her love and anguish as a mother.
The story takes place in a war-torn world, and although the theme is heavy, the mood at the recording studio is very friendly.
I hope that people of all ages will enjoy the newest "Dororo" that we have created together.
The creator of Hyakkimaru and Tahomaru. He blames Keikou for offering Hyakkimaru in a deal with the demon god, and has long held feelings in his heart for his abandoned child.
