Square Enix began distributing a free demo version of "Dragon Quest Builders 2: Shido the Destroyer and the Island of the Empty" for PS4/Switch, scheduled for release on December 20 (Thursday), today, December 6, 2018.

Dragon Quest Builders 2: Shido the Destroyer and the Island of Emptiness" is the latest title in the "Dragon Quest Builders" series, a block-making RPG in which players weave a story through the power of "monozukuri" (the art of making things) in a world made of "blocks". Set in a world after "Dragon Quest II: Gods of Evil Spirits," players will weave their own stories with the power of "monozukuri" (building things) as they aim to become full-fledged builders. In addition to the "Monozukuri" element, which has been greatly improved from the previous title, the system also features "multiplayer" play for up to four players. After the release of the main game, additional downloadable content will be available for a fee.
