Tanita unveils the world premiere of the TANITA PINBALL concept model, a professional body composition analyzer with a pinball game, at CES 2019!

Tanita, a comprehensive health company, has developed a concept model of the TANITA PINBALL, a professional-use body composition analyzer that combines body composition measurement with the amusement element of a pinball game, allowing users to enjoy managing their health while playing the game. It will be unveiled ahead of the world at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2019, the world's largest trade show in the field of consumer electronics, to be held in Las M. Bissons, USA, for four days from January 8 to 11, 2019, local time.

The TANITA PINBALL concept model is a professional-use body composition analyzer developed under the theme of "gamification" to make body composition measurement fun and accessible. The body composition analyzer is fused with the "pinball" game function, which is easy to operate and fun for everyone. When the body composition measurement is completed according to the display on the monitor, the user can play pinball with the buttons on the grip. The aim is to encourage people to naturally get into the habit of measuring their body composition.

The body composition measurement unit is Tanita's DC-13C double-ended body composition analyzer. The DC-13C allows users to easily measure their body composition and play the game without taking off their shoes. The game screen changes according to the results of the body composition measurement, and the user can enjoy continuing to manage their health by discovering new things each time they "measure = play".
