PS4/Switch/Xbox One/PC "Onimusha" reveals challenging elements, including an underground space where valuable items lie!

Capcom has released the latest information on "Onimusha" for PS4/Xbox One/Switch, scheduled for release on Thursday, December 20, 2018 (PC version scheduled for release on Wednesday, January 16, 2019).

Onimusha" is a Sengoku survival action game originally released in 2001 for the PS2. It is a masterpiece that has captivated players around the world with its exhilarating sword-fighting action and a story of fierce battles against "phantom demons. The game also attracted a great deal of attention when actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, who modeled and voiced the main character, Samosuke, participated in the game project as a guest creator. The new game features newly recorded Japanese voices. In addition, the BGM that creates the magnificent worldview has also been newly created.

The game includes information on the "Magic Sky Room," a subterranean space where valuable items lie, and the "Fluorite," a key item needed to unlock special perks.

You can go to the Magic Sky Room by asking the "Minoaji" you meet along the way.
The place is so dangerous that "there is no guarantee you will make it back alive," but the rewards for making it back alive are great.


Weapons, items, tactical shells.Use all of them to survive!
On each floor, phantom demons appear one after another to block your way.
There is no way to escape from the secret room. Choose the right weapon for the situation, use the limited-use firearms and tactical shells, and make full use of all means of attack to face the numerous enemies!


Issen" is an important means of recovery.
In the magical airspace, the yellow souls of physical strength will appear only when a phantom is defeated by "issen" (a flash).
Depending on the situation, players can enjoy more tense battles by aggressively aiming "Issen," which is a one-hit-kill counter.


Aim for the deepest level by defeating all phantoms!
Once you have defeated all the demons on the floor, two lights will appear. You can choose to proceed to the lower floor or return to the ground level.
As you advance through the floors, the demons that stand in your way become more formidable. If you return to the ground, you will have to retry from B1F, but you can bring back the items you have obtained. It is a good idea to prepare your equipment and items and take your time to complete the challenge.


Fluorite: A key item required to unlock privileges.
Along the way in the story, several small stones called "fluorspar" fall.
If you collect a certain number of these fluorspar stones and complete the main game, additional costumes and mini-games will be released.
Find the "fluorites" scattered throughout the game and aim to unlock additional benefits that will allow you to enjoy the game even more.


～The "clairvoyance" is the clue.
Under normal circumstances, you would not be able to see where the fluorite is. However, if you obtain the special item "clairvoyance," the fluorite will glow, making it easier to find.
