The final season of the "Monogatari" anime series, "Sequel to the Last Story," which will begin showing at 30 theaters nationwide on November 10 (Sat), has been released on Blu-ray and DVD.
The "Sequel to 'Monogatari'" is a coming-of-age ghost story by Ishin Nishio, creator of the "Nonsense" series, the "Monogatari" series, and the "Oblivion Detective" series, among others. It is the final season of the "<Monogatari>" series, which has continued to be a huge hit, and a TV anime adaptation began in 2009. The previous "All the Stories (Top) (Middle)" was broadcast from October to December 2015, and "All the Stories (Bottom)" in August 2017.
The package of this work, which consists of two volumes, upper and lower, contains three episodes each of the main story. The limited edition and standard edition will include a character commentary written by Ishin Nishio, the author of the original story, as well as a special CD containing the opening theme song "07734" and music from the show, special pinups, and other special extras.
