Finally released this week, December 20! PS4/Switch/Xbox One/PC "Onimusha" reveals hidden mini-games and additional costumes!

Capcom has revealed hidden mini-games and additional costumes for "Onimusha" for PS4/Xbox One/Switch, scheduled for release on Thursday, December 20, 2018 (PC version scheduled for release on Wednesday, January 16, 2019).

Onimusha" is a Sengoku survival action game originally released in 2001 for the PS2. It is a masterpiece that has captivated players around the world with its exhilarating sword-fighting action and story of epic battles against "phantom demons. The game also attracted a great deal of attention when actor Takeshi Kaneshiro, who modeled and voiced the main character, Samosuke, participated in the game project as a guest creator. The new game features newly recorded Japanese voices. In addition, the BGM that creates the magnificent worldview has also been newly created.

The game will go on sale this coming Thursday, December 20, and we have received information on the hidden mini-game "Oni Soul," which can be played after clearing the main game, and the "additional costumes" that can be used if the conditions are met to clear the main game.

Oni Soul: A hidden mini-game that unlocks the soul of the demon
Oni Soul" is a mini-game that appears when certain conditions are met and the main game is cleared.
This is a hidden element that allows players to enjoy a different experience from the main game, in which they aim to free their souls by visiting sacred sites in a total of 12 stages.

Basic Rules
The player's physical strength gradually decreases with time. Before the number reaches zero, the player must destroy the number of pots that exceed the "number of liberation" specified for each stage.
Equipment and items possessed at the start of the game are fixed.
Conditions for appearance of "Oni no Tamashii" mode
Clear the main game with all fluorite stones collected.

Destroy the demon pots as soon as possible!
In each stage, the number of demon pots set up at the start of the game and the prescribed number to be destroyed can be confirmed as the "number released.
The number of demon pots and the number to be destroyed are shown in the "release count".

The player must destroy the demon pots, which is a condition for clearing the stage, but there will be demons in the stage that will prevent the player from doing so. Be careful, because the demon vases destroyed by the phantoms will not be counted as "liberated" and will be lost from the stage.It is a good idea to clear the stage while judging the situation, such as defeating the phantoms first, or ignoring them and prioritizing the destruction of the demon jars.

■Use the items you obtain!
In each stage, there are treasure chests containing items such as balls that enable the use of tactical shells and medicinal herbs that are useful for recovering strength.
At the start of the game, players are poorly equipped and have few items, so the key to success will be to collect items on the battlefield and prepare for reinforcement and recovery.

When the number of items released in each stage is reached, the game is cleared and the player is transferred to the next stage. ▲Items obtained will be carried over, and the player will be able to take on the next stage with his/her strength fully recovered.
