OVA "YuruYuri," teaser visual, staff and cast information released & crowdfunding project launched!

The official website of "YuruYuri, (YuruYuriTen)", which was announced as an OVA production to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "YuruYuri" serialization, has been renewed and a teaser visual and staff information have been released.

YuruYuri" is an anime work based on a yuri manga serialized in Comic Yurihime. It is a school romantic comedy centering on four junior high school girls who belong to the "Goraku Club" of Nanamori Junior High School and the student council, and has gained popularity for its loose, everyday life and the gag depiction of the main character, who has little presence. The series has been produced in various forms, including the first TV anime season "YuruYuri," the second TV anime season "YuruYuri♪♪," the OVA "YuruYuri Nachyachumi! and the special edition "YuruYuri Nachyachumi! +Plus" was produced, and in October 2015, the third TV anime season "Yuru Yuri San☆High! In the event "Nanamorichu Happi~basude~" held on April 22, 2018, it was announced that a new original animation would be produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the original "YuruYuri" story.

The official website of "YuruYuri, (YuruYuri Ten)", which had announced the production of OVA to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "YuruYuri" serialization, has been renewed and the teaser visual and staff information have been released.

The teaser visual is a cute illustration of Akari in school uniform, holding her hands to represent the "10" of the 10th anniversary. The staff includes Daigo Yamagishi, assistant director of "Shinkansen Transformable Robo Shinkarion The Animation," as director, and Takahiro Takahiro, whose collaboration with Namori, the original writer of the currently airing anime "RELEASE THE SPYCE," is fresh in the mind, as script writer. The production studio is Lay-duce, which also produced "RELEASE THE SPYCE.

In addition, a crowdfunding project was announced as a way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "YuruYuri". The period is from Tuesday, December 25, 19:00 to Friday, February 15, 2019.
The returns will include a special CD, a Blu-ray of the limited edition OVA, a crowdfunding-only event, and an autograph card with an illustration drawn by Namori. More details will be announced on the official anime website and Twitter. Keep checking the website and Twitter for more details.
