Event Limited Screening 5.1ch" will be added as a bonus to the Blu-ray & DVD "SSSS.GRIDMAN 1" to be released on December 19, 2018. In addition, it has been decided that additional broadcasts of "SSSS.GRIDMAN" will begin in January 2019.

GRIDMAN" is a special effects program produced by Tsuburaya Productions and TBS, which aired 39 episodes every Saturday from 17:30 to 18:00 on the TBS network (excluding some affiliate stations) from April 1993 to January 1994. The story is about a 14-year-old boy, Sho Naoto, who is devoted to building his own computer and transforms into a new century hero to confront the evil forces that are trying to control the computer world.

It was announced at the 2015 Japan Anime (-tar) Trade Fair that the TV anime "SSSS.GRIDMAN" would be produced and broadcast in the fall of 2018. The animation will be produced by TRIGGER, which produced "Denko Chojin Gridman boys invent great hero," and will be directed by Tetsu Amemiya, who also directed the same work.

The first audio commentary will feature Yuya Hirose, Souma Saito, and Yume Miyamoto. Director Tetsu Amemiya and other staff members from each episode will participate in the second and third sessions.
