Uesaka Sumire releases her latest photo book "Sumipe's Flashback My Life" on her birthday, December 19!

Uesaka Sumire, who has appeared in many popular anime, will release her latest photobook, "Uesaka Sumire Photobook: Sumipe's Flashback My Life," on December 19, her birthday.

This photobook is the first book in three years based on "Uesaka Sumire's Message to Comrades," which is serialized in "Seiyu Grand Prix" magazine. The book is packed with Uesaka's favorite things such as "Chinatown," "Japanese sake," "Sangokushi," "hedgehogs," and "Kamakura.

The book includes a "Sumire Stroll" through Uesaka's hometowns of Ofuna and Enoshima in Kanagawa Prefecture, and a "Violet Stroll" through her hometown of Kochi in Kanagawa Prefecture. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of her debut as an artist, three outfits that she has worn at live performances and events were selected for the photo shoot. The magazine is also packed with other unique Uesaka projects, such as wearing a Soviet military uniform and comparing 10 different kinds of vodka.

The book also contains a large volume of newly illustrated four-panel panels, photos taken by Uesaka with comments, a long interview, and more. Each specialty store will offer special bonus photos on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to purchase early.
