Anime "HIGH SCORE GIRL" announces details of ROUND 13-15, the continuation of the main TV series! BD & DVD will be released in March next year!

Details of ROUND 13-15 of "HIGH SCORE GIRL" to be distributed on Netflix have been announced.

High Score Girl" is a popular comic series by Rensuke Oshikiri serialized in the monthly magazine "Big Gangan" (published by Square Enix). The story takes place in a video arcade during the heyday of 2D fighting games such as "Street Fighter II" in the 1990s, and is a romantic comedy about Haruo Yaguchi, a main character whose only talent is video games, and his classmate Akira Ohno, a rich young lady with excellent grades. It was announced in 2013 but was put on hold, but with the cooperation of various game companies, it was successfully "restarted" as a TV anime.

ROUND 13-15 is the continuation of the story from ROUND 12, the last episode of the TV series, and the story begins after Koharu's confession. New characters such as "Nikotama-chan (CV: Shiori Izawa)" and "Zangief-san (CV: Kenta Miyake)" appear, and the episodes featuring Haruo and Koharu, who are also popular in the original manga, are depicted.

The Blu-ray/DVD "EXTRA STAGE" containing ROUND 13-15 will be released on Wednesday, March 20. The booklet (~Urugi Daikagirin EXTRA STAGE~) included as an initial bonus features an 8-page manga of a completely new original episode, newly drawn by the original author, Rensuke Oshikiri. In addition, as a video bonus, a newly shot game showdown program and game footage used in the anime will be included with commentary.

At the same time, the web radio "HIGHSCORE GIRL DOJO," featuring Kohei Amasaki, who plays Haruo Yaguchi, the main character of HIGHSCORE GIRL, will also start. It is a program where he talks about the latest information and games of HIGHSCORE GIRL and trains himself.

STAGE 1, the first volume of the Blu-ray & DVD, will be released on 12/19 (Wed), and there are plans for more Blu-ray/DVD as well as collaboration cafes, EVO Japan 2019, and more.
