In the "2018 Fall Anime Popularity Poll" held before the start of the broadcast, "INGRESS THE ANIMATION" (9,409 votes), based on the smartphone location-based game "Ingress," won first place by a wide margin over second place, and the anime version of "JoJo," which has gained tremendous trust and overwhelming support from fans, won first place with "JoJo" (9,409 votes).
