Comments after the event

Director Ryuichi Kimura: "It's been almost a year since we were approached, and while it may have been a long time or a short time, I am happy that we have managed to make it this far. As a production team, we are now at a critical point. We have only just begun, so we are determined to keep our spirits up and make a good product."

Yui Ishikawa: "This was my first "Kemono Friends" event, so I was nervous going on stage because I didn't know what kind of atmosphere the audience would be in or how they would watch the first episode, but they were all very warm. It was an event where I could feel how much "Friends of Kemono" is loved by the audience. I could feel how much they love "Kemono Friends." I also felt the strength of the co-stars, which made me realize that the seniors of "Kemofure" are very reliable. The recording session is still going on, but this event made me feel that I will do my best to make this work bring smiles to people's faces.

Yuka Ozaki: "I just watched the first episode for the first time, and I was very impressed by the wonderful work that Director Kimura has created. I am really looking forward to seeing the reactions of the Friends after the episode airs. When I looked at the faces of the Friends who came to the event today, they looked very calm and kind, and I felt that they must all be feeling the same way, thinking "Welcome back to 'Friends of Kemono'", so the screening made me look forward to the broadcast."
