The second season of the TV anime "BAKUMATSU" will be broadcast! A handover party by the voice actors will be held!

The TV anime "BAKUMATSU" reached its shocking final episode on December 20 (Thu.), and the second season of this work will be broadcast.

The TV anime "BAKUMATSU" is based on "Love Bakumatsu Kareshi: Toki no Kanata de Hanasaku Koi," a popular love game series by Frew. The original game, which has been downloaded a total of more than 5 million times, has gained popularity because it allows players to enjoy romance with Bakumatsu samurai. The anime version takes a different turn with an original storyline. Set in "another Bakumatsu period" ruled by the masked shogun Mugensai, the story depicts the "Ikizama" of the samurai who are doing their best to survive in the "other Bakumatsu period.
The production staff for the TV anime version includes Masaki Watanabe as director, Akihiro Saito as assistant director, Masahiro Yokoya as series composition, Natsuo as animation character design, Shuichi Shimamura as animation character design, and Ryu Kawazaki as music. Studio Deen of "Mucho and Rosie's Magic Law Office" and "Ongaku Shoujo" will be in charge of animation production.

Details of the second season will be announced on the official anime website as soon as they are decided, as well as on the newly opened official blog and LINE@. ＜Story
The time is the end of the Edo period.
The time is the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, a time when the souls of the warriors are aflame with worry about the future of Japan and their own beliefs.
Takasugi Shinsaku, a Choshu samurai, and his partner Katsura Kogoro are about to infiltrate a Shogunate naval ship led by Tokugawa Yoshinobu.
Their goal is the legendary treasure "Jishin-gi," which has the power to manipulate time.
When Takasugi hears that the Shogunate is trying to seize this power for itself, he says
That's such a boring way!
and plots to destroy Tokitatsunyi.
Takasugi and his men once had the Tokitatsugi in their possession, but someone took it away from them, and they pursued it to the capital of Kyoto, where Yoshinobu Yoshinobu was residing.
However, what they see there is the "Giant Castle Susanoo" reigning in a strange form.
Takasugi and his men are bewildered by the townscape and people, which are completely different from what they know.
It was "another end of Edo period" ruled by a masked shogun, Mugensai.
What we truly want to protect remains the same even after the passage of time.
The curtain now opens on a story of men with passionate hearts and their all-out "ikizama"!
