TV anime "Flame Firefighters" unveils its latest teaser visual featuring the 8th special firefighting team! The main character Morira Kusakabe is played by Takehito Kajiwara

The second teaser visual from the TV anime adaptation of "Flame Firefighters" has been released.

This is an anime work based on the manga of the same title by Atsushi Okubo, which is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). It depicts the activities of a special firefighting team who fight against the "human body ignition phenomenon," in which people suddenly burst into flames and become "firebirds," monsters of flame, and go to their destructive limits.
The production staff includes director Yuki Yase, series composition by Taketo Yashima, and character design by Hideyuki Morioka. The animation production will be handled by david production, which has produced "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" and "Hataraku Cell.

The second teaser visual depicts the members of the 8th Special Fire Brigade, in which the newest member, Shinra Kusakabe, has joined, assembling and lining up to head off to the battlefield.

The main character, Morira Kusakabe, will be played by Takehito Kajiwara, who played the role of Asta in "Black Clover. A comment has also been received.

In addition, the "Flame Firefighters" will participate in the Tokyo Fire Department New Year's Ceremony to be held on January 6, 2019 (Sunday). Takehito Kajiwara is also scheduled to attend as a new member of the 8th Special Firefighting Team. In addition, original "Flame Fire-Fighting Team" pocket warmers will be handed out to visitors, and the special armored fire truck "Matchbox" used by the 8th Special Fire-Fighting Team will be on display.

He can send flames out of his legs, fly through the air, and perform powerful kicking techniques.

--Please tell us about your impression of the character Shinra Himoshita.

I was genuinely moved by the way she stood up to the flames and tried to protect people, even after losing her mother and brother in a fire when she was 5 years old, and continued to care about her family. I myself am the type of person who relies on my family whenever something happens... but I respect and love Shinra's straightforwardness because I care for them just as much as she does! Because of that, I think Shinra is capable of changing the atmosphere around her and people's feelings in a positive way.

--Please give a few words to your fans who are looking forward to this film.

I am very happy to be able to play the role of Shinra, a very attractive character!
There are many lines and scenes that I love, and I worry everyday about how to express my feelings better...!
I will do my best to convey my feelings as Shinra, and I will do my best to make each word count!

Tokyo Fire Fighting New Year's Ceremony is an annual New Year's fire and disaster prevention event held by the Tokyo Fire Department. It is popular among many people every year, featuring a procession of fire trucks, firefighting performances, musical performances by a music band and a color guard, a wooden lantern and ladder rides by the Edo Firemen's Memorial Association, and other performances.
