2019 Winter Anime "The Rise of the Shield's Hero", Episode 1 "The Shield's Hero" Advance Cut & Synopsis! First 1 hour SP

The first episode of the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Heroes," which will begin airing on January 9, 2019, has arrived with a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

The book "The Rise of the Shield's Hero" was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-ka Yusha no Yusha no Norowo" and was published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA) in 2013. It is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi, currently in its 20th volume.
Iwatani Naofumi is an otaku college student who is summoned to another world as one of the heroes. He sets out on a journey of training to protect the world, but is betrayed by his friends within a few days. This is a fantasy about a man who loses everything, including his money and position, and rises to the top.
The animation production staff includes Takao Abo as director, Keigo Koyanagi as series composition, Masahiro Suwa as character design and chief animation director, Hiroki Gobun as sound director, and Kevin Penkin as music. Animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus.
