The Movie Compilation "Made in Abyss" and the new episode title will be "Made in Abyss the Movie: Dawn of the Deep Soul"!

The theatrical compilation "Made in Abyss" will be screened in theaters from January 2019, and it was announced that the title and teaser visual of the new episode will be revealed and a screening event with staff talk will be held.

Made in Abyss" is a manga serialized by Akihito Tsukushi on the web comic site "Comic Gamma". It is a popular work that warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother, in the Abyss, a gigantic cavern that has no idea how far it extends, and Oath, a town built on the edge of the cavern. The staff of the TV anime version includes Masayuki Kojima (director: "Black Bullet"), Hideyuki Kurata (series composition: "DRIFTERS"), and character design: "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character design), and animation production is by Kinema Citrus. On November 26, 2017, after the broadcast, the production of the sequel was announced at the "Deep in Abyss Storytelling" event to discuss "Made in Abyss," and the theatrical version will be released as a compilation film.
