A relay interview with the highly anticipated winter anime "Bermuda Triangle"! The first interview is with Amane Shindo, a junior high school student making her voice acting debut as Caro!

The broadcast of the new anime "Bermuda Triangle ~Colorful Pastorale~," which will color the winter of 2019, is finally approaching on Saturday, January 12.

Bermuda Triangle -Colorful Pastorale-" is a spin-off of the trading card game themed anime "Cardfight! Vanguard", a trading card game-themed anime series that has been running since the winter of 2011 through the spring of 2018. It depicts the days leading up to the formation of "Bermuda △ (Triangle)," the mermaid idol group that boasts immense popularity in "Vanguard.

The original character design is by Takuya Fujima of "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid" fame. The collaboration of popular creators such as Junji Nishimura for the director and Michiko Yokote for the series composition is also a delight, but what we are interested in is the cast of "Bermuda △"!

Akiba Research Institute" asked the cast members of "Bermuda△" about the appeal of this work!

Our first interview is with Amane Shindo, who plays the role of Caro! We can't wait to see what kind of color she'll add to Caro with her fresh charm as an active junior high school student!

--What kind of character is Caro? Also, what were your impressions of actually playing the role?

Shindo: She is a very energetic girl who says what she thinks right away and loves cake. She has a lot of similarities to me, and I think she shows her true self as well!

--Bermuda△" was originally an idol unit popular in the "Cardfight! Vanguard," were you aware of their existence?　Also, what did you think when you first heard about the "Mermaid Idol" setting?

Shindo: I had been watching "Vanguard" since I was in elementary school, so I knew about it. When I heard "Mermaid Idol," I thought of "swimming" and "singing," which made me happy because I also like swimming and singing!

--Please tell us about the charms and highlights of this work.

Shindo: Of course, the cute mermaid girls. Also, there are different sweets in each episode, and they look delicious, so be sure to check them out!

--What scenes in the anime have left a strong impression on you? Also, what do you think are the highlights of the anime?

Shindo: The scene where Caro, who is usually very energetic, loses her energy! Please look forward to the anime to find out what happened to Caro ★ Also, the ending theme is sung by a different singer every episode, so please pay attention to that too!

--How do you like the atmosphere at the recording studio?　Do you have any memorable episodes from the recording sessions?

Shindo: I was nervous because it was my first time at a post recording studio, but the staff and seniors helped me relax and the atmosphere was fun and lively.

When "hijiki sandwiches" appeared in the play, we all thought, "What? But when Mr. Yokota, the sound director, actually made hijiki sandwiches for us and we all enjoyed them, we were all surprised at how tasty they were!

--I was surprised at how delicious it was when we all enjoyed it together! Did you have any interactions or learn anything from the senior cast members?

Shindo: Kikuko Inoue, Noriko Hidaka, and other senior cast members have kindly given me guidance and follow-ups when I repeatedly make mistakes, and I have learned a lot. During a break, I was told that I was "austere" because my snack pouch was full of sour foods such as stemmed turnips and crunchy plums (laugh). I shared my "reluctant snacks" with everyone!

--What kind of music is the ending theme "Shabon"?　Please tell us what you thought of it when you sang it.

Shindo: It is a fluffy and cute song with a different atmosphere depending on the character singing it! This was my first recording session, and the day before, I was worried that I might fail. でも、当日はなぜかワクワクしていて、「るんっ♪」ってしながら現場に行き、楽しいレコーディングができました！ I can't wait for everyone to hear it. ......♪

Shindo: This is a story about very cute mermaids before they become divas. The mermaids challenge themselves in many different ways, so I hope you enjoy the story!

The OP song by "Pastel✽Palettes" and the ED song by us "Colorful Pastorale" are also cute, so please pay attention to them too!
