The key visual, a stunning trailer, and numerous scene photos have been released!

The key visual depicts the dignified Arimoto and Iemitsu back to back.

The Edo period (1603-1867) was a time when the population of boys was reduced to about 1/4 of that of girls due to an epidemic, and power was shifted to women. The beginning of this trend dates back to the time of Tokugawa's third shogun, Iemitsu (CV: Eriko Matsui).

The shogun's position was handed over to a woman, and the world of the "O-oku" (the inner palace) was established, where the sexes were reversed, and the "three thousand beautiful men" were known as "bishonens. A beautiful monk, Arigoro Banrikoji (CV: Mamoru Miyano), visits Edo Castle from Kyoto, but is blackmailed by Kasuga Burei (CV: Kikuko Inoue) into entering the inner chambers with a boy, Tamae (CV: Yuki Kaji).

While the trailer shows the colorful and gorgeous "O-oku" (the inner chambers), the various emotions swirling in a world of "gender reversal" foreshadow a tumultuous turn of events.

Iemitsu, who was admitted to the inner chambers as a candidate to be the heir to the Tokugawa shogunate, sadly tells Iemitsu, "I am merely a debtor to the Tokugawa family to keep the blood of the Tokugawa alive. Arimitsu, who stands by Iemitsu as he says, "I am sure she has been beaten down many, many times before..." Arimitsu, too, begins to have "special" feelings for Iemitsu that go beyond his role. ...... However, Iemitsu's feelings for Arimitsu are not as strong as Iemitsu's, However, a surprising difficulty awaits Arimitsu and Iemitsu.

I hope you will witness the sad love story between a man and a woman whose fates are at each other's throats.
