In preparation for the release of the film version of "Sailor Moon Cosmos," the distribution of "Sailor Moon" retrospective videos has begun.

Sailor Moon" was serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine until 1997, and even though the TV anime has finished airing, it is still loved around the world. 2021 saw the "Dead Moon" version adapted into the movie "Sailor Moon Eternal".

In 2023, "Sailor Moon Cosmos," the film version of the final chapter of the series, "Shadow Galactica," will be shown on June 9 (Friday) for the first part and June 30 (Friday) for the second part.

The "Sailor Moon" retrospective video distribution has started on the official movie YouTube, condensing all four parts of the new series, which began airing on TV in 2012, so that viewers can easily review them one at a time.

The first part of the retrospective video is the "Dark Kingdom" section, which depicts the awakening of the Sailor Senshi and the events in their previous lives. The video is navigated by Hisako Kanemoto, who plays Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno.

＜In the "Dark Kingdom" version, Usagi Tsukino is told of her mission by the black cat Luna as the chosen warrior of justice, and finds her fellow warriors. She also fights against Quinn Beryl, the queen who leads the Four Heavenly Kings of the Dark Kingdom, who are plotting to rule the earth over the "Phantom Silver Crystal," which has tremendous power.

Usagi first meets Ami Mizuno (Sailor Mercury, the warrior of love and intelligence), a girl genius who is rumored to have an IQ of 300. Next is Rei Hino (Sailor Mars, the warrior of love and passion), a priestess of the Hikawa Shrine, and Makoto Kino (Sailor Jupiter, the warrior of love and courage), a maiden who is athletic and loves cooking and gardening. They also meet Minako Aino (Sailor Venus, the warrior of love and beauty), a girl who is secretly active as Sailor V, and the five Sailor Senshi come together!

The story of Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon and Mamoru Jiba/Tuxedo Mask begins to take a major turn when it is revealed that in a previous life they were in love with each other, but were never united. The story develops into a battle with Quinn Beryl and even Quinn Metalia, who was controlling Quinn Beryl, and a fierce battle unfolds in the first part of the story.
