Ubisoft announced at the PlayStation Showcase that "Assassin's Creed Mirage," the latest in the "Assassin's Creed" series, will be released worldwide on October 12, 2023.

The "Assassin's Creed" series has sold over 200 million copies worldwide since its release in 2007. The series, which boasts one of the richest stories in the industry, has been developed in a variety of media including video and books.

Ubisoft announced that "Assassin's Creed Mirage," the latest title in the "Assassin's Creed" series, will be released worldwide on October 12, 2023.

Assassin's Creed Mirage" is being developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, the same company responsible for the "Wrath of the Druids" expansion for "Assassin's Creed Valhalla". This work is a tribute to the series of films, most notably the first in the series, "Assassin's Creed. Set in 9th century Abbasid Baghdad during the golden age of Islam, the game offers a story-driven action adventure that retains the parkour, stealth, and assassination elements that have defined the series for over 15 years. The game will also be released worldwide in full Arabic localization, including text and audio, for the first time in the series.

Players take on the role of Basim ibn Ishaq, a young bandit with a mysterious past who seeks answers in Alamut alongside those in hiding. Basim is voiced by Lee Madjoub (English) and Eyad Nassar (Arabic). Basim's mentor, Roshan, will be voiced by Sholeh Akdashloo.

The newly released trailer shows Basim, guided by his fellow hiders, using his tools and skills to track down and assassinate his targets.
An agile and intelligent assassin in the series, Basim's playstyle features stealth and precise assassination skills, with new abilities such as "Assassination Mastery," which allows him to mark and assassinate multiple enemies simultaneously.

The gameplay footage also shows the vibrant city of Baghdad. The high-density, three-dimensional terrain allows players to reach their destinations quickly through parkour.

Assassin's Creed Mirage" is available for pre-order today at video game retailers nationwide for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions, as well as for download from the Playstation Store, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, and Epic Games Store, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store.
