Project Q is a product that allows users to remotely play compatible games installed on their PS5 console through remote play over Wi-Fi. Equipped with a vivid 8-inch LCD display that supports resolutions up to 1080p and frame rates up to 60fps, users will be able to enjoy smooth gameplay streamed from their PS5 with crisp visuals even when away from their home TV.


However, games that require a VR headset (PlayStation VR or PlayStation VR2) and additional peripherals (excluding DUALSHOCK(R)4, DualSense(R) Wireless Controller and DualSense Edge(TM) Wireless DualSense(R) Wireless Controller, DualSense Edge(TM) Wireless Controller, and DualSense(R) Wireless Controller). In addition, games that require cloud streaming functionality on the PS5 console, a PlayStation(R) Plus Premium service, are not supported.

The device requires a broadband Internet connection of at least 5 Mbps over Wi-Fi, and a high-speed connection of 15 Mbps or higher is recommended for a better playing experience. The connection also requires a PlayStation 5 console and a PlayStation Network account.

In addition, all features and buttons of the DualSense(R) wireless controller, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, will be available (only for games that support them).
