The third superheavy god has finally descended! Voice actor Yasuyuki Tai gives an in-depth review of the shocking MODEROID "God Sigma Gravion! Part 1

When you are a working adult, you tend to have a lot of plastic models piled up in your busy life. ...... In this series, Yasuyuki Tai, a voice actor who loves robots and plastic models, takes on the challenge of building plastic models on your behalf!

The concept is "even busy working people can make it this far on their weekends off. There are only two rules: bare bones assembly and a production period of one to two days! If you read this series, you will surely find the plastic model you want to build.

So, "Weekend Plastic Model Making by Voice Actor Taiyuki! Let's start the 76th issue!

Taiyuki's Weekend Plastic Modeling Vol. 76 MODEROID God Sigma Gravion Part 1

It has been a little while since its release, but we have finally reviewed the God Sigma Gravion from the "Choujujin Gravion Zwei" series! Let me make an excuse at the end as to why it took me so long to publish this article.

God Sigma Gravion is a superheavy deity used by Sandman at the end of the story, and is completed by using Gran Sigma in its core and combining it with the black Gran Diva.

By combining the previously released "God Gravion," "Sol Sigma Gravion," and "God Sigma Gravion" and combining their parts, you can even combine them into the "Ultimate Gravion," which only appeared in the final episode of the story!

This article is a review of two figures, God Sigma Gravion and Ultimate Gravion, so I'll try to be as brief as possible!

On the package, God Sigma Gravion is standing with the Earth in the background. If you have the God Gravion and Sol Sigma Gravion boxes, please take a look at them side by side!

On the back, in addition to the introduction of the kit, there is also a "Most Powerful Combined God! figure! This is the end of our introduction to the packaging for this issue.

This product includes parts for Ultimate Gravion in addition to God Sigma Gravion, so the number of runners is surprisingly large. There are also plenty of clear parts. Stickers are included to reproduce the detailed color coding, making this a plastic kit that can be played with even if you just assemble it straight out of the box.

There are three instruction manuals, each covering "Assembling Each Machine Comprising God Sigma Gravion," "Combining into God Sigma Gravion," and "Combining into Ultimate Gravion.

Let us first introduce the appearance of the machines before merging.

The shape of Gran Sigma is exactly the same as the previously released Sol Sigma Gravion. However, the paint color is different in one spot.

The head is also similar to that of the Sol Sigma Gravion, but since this article may be the first time for some of you to see it, we will take another look at the range of motion.

The head is connected with ball joints, and there are no obstacles around the neck, so it can move freely. The chin is painted red (Sol Sigma Gravion was painted black).

The left eye area is also painted in fine detail to express the damage!

The arms can roll and rotate, and the elbows can be bent 90 degrees.

The wrists are connected to the shaft, but can be snapped by using the deformation movement.

There is a sideways movable part around the chest.

The abdomen can be bent forward.

The abdomen and waist are connected by an axis that allows for 360° rotation.

The legs can be opened nearly 180 degrees in each direction. It is quite excellent.

There is a roll rotation axis on the thigh. Due to its shape, it does not rotate 360°, but it has a sufficient range of motion.

The knees are also double-jointed and can be bent quite deeply.

The ankles are small but move surprisingly well, partly due to the fact that they are retracted when the figure is combined. Changing the direction of the ankle joints increases the ground contact with the body.

The "G Shadow" is a small stealth fighter. When combined, it is responsible for the chest armor, back thrusters, and helmet. Clear parts are used for the cockpit and other parts. The main wings and red lines are color reproduced with stickers.

The coloring, stickers, and even the clear parts are probably identical to those of the "God Gravion".

G-Driller". The clear parts of the cockpit also have fine details. The drill is a painted part. The red part on the side of the vehicle body is reproduced with stickers.

This is probably the same as the one of "God Gravion" as well as "G Shadow".

G Attacker". The canopy is clear and colorless. The main wings are painted parts. Other than that, no stickers are used to reproduce the coloring so far. The black parts of the fuselage were molded in blue color for "God Gravion".

The nose of the "G Striker" is slightly different from that of the "G Attacker". Other than that, it is exactly the same as the Attacker.

The way of combining with "God Gravion" is almost the same, but let's review it while imagining the combining scene of "God Sigma Gravion" lightly.

Lift both arms outward and deploy the covers to store the wrists.

The wrists are retracted into the forearms and the torso is extended to the left and right while the second arm is pushed into the torso.

The ankles are lifted up by the toes, ready for merging.

The G-driller is split to the left and right by removing the joint covers at the rear of the vehicle body for merging.

Open the underside of the vehicle body and remove the drill once ......

Reorient the drill so that it is facing inward and reattach it to complete the assembly preparation.

G Shadow removes the parts that attach the helmet parts, deploys the arms, and is ready to combine.

G Attacker and G Striker close the main wings and shrink the nose slightly to ......

Furthermore, the nose is lifted up and the knees are formed, ready to combine.

G Driller is joined to the black joint on the outside of Gran Sigma's forearm.

The G-Striker and G-Attacker are docked in the joint holes on the shin of the Σ.

Close the lids of the G-Striker and G-Attacker to secure the heel of the Gran Σ.

G-Shadow is fixed at the notch in Gran Σ's backpack and the joint at the neck.

Remove Gran Sigma's earrings and replace the helmet parts. This completes all the merging!

The Chouheigami God Sigma Gravion is now complete! The main color has been changed from blue to black, changing the image from heroic to noble.

From the back, it looks almost the same as God-Gravion except for the color, but there are some differences such as the skirt armor on the waist and around the shins.

The movable range of the head. Basically, the head has the same degree of freedom as the Grand Sigma, but the head cannot be tilted sideways due to interference between the head ornament and the G Shadow parts.

The head can be lifted to the top by rotating it forward and backward, but the arms cannot be lifted horizontally to a large extent when the figure is left in the combined state.

The main wings of the G Shadow can be moved to avoid arm movement.

Roll rotation is possible at the combined arms of the two arms. Elbows are double-jointed and can be bent this far. Wrist is ball joint connection.

The abdomen is movable like the Grand Sigma.

The legs have increased volume overall, but the leg openings are as flexible as Gran Σ's, both front to back and left to right.

Knee joints can be bent deeply as in Gran Σ.

The ankles are connected with ball joints. The toes are also lifted up significantly and seem to have good ground contact.

When the upper body of Gran Σ is replaced with an action torso: ......

The shoulder joints are ball-jointed, so they can swing back and forth.

The horizontal arm movement is also greatly enhanced.

Left and right flat hands are also included. Naturally, posing using "THE Simple Stand" is also supported.

Graviton Lancer's blade is painted in clear purple. It can be held on the left and right weapon holding wrists.

There is a Graviton Sword part on the chest, but it is not used in the play, and the sword is not included in the kit. However, the length of the weapon more than makes up for it, and it is a dedicated weapon, so I have no complaints at all.

The lancer can be split into two pieces by removing the center connecting part.

The ability to change weapon modes means a wide range of posing options. Try various cool and cool poses.

A shield can also be held on the wrist of the weapon holder. This shield merges with the chest of the Ultimate Gravion.

The three figures are all together with the God Gravion and Sol Sigma Gravion that we have used in our reviews so far. I never thought I would see the day when I could get all three of them in a reasonable sized plastic kit. ...... This is not the time to get lost in deep emotion! Rather, the real work begins here!

In the second part, Ultimate Gravion, we will try painting!
