BANDAI OFFICIAL TOY SHOP has started accepting pre-orders for " Kaijyu Kikai King Joe Strage Custom " (19,800 yen including tax, shipping and handling fee not included).

The new high-end figure series "Kaijyu Kikaku" reproduces the features of "monsters" appearing in tokusatsu works by incorporating them into attractive toy gimmicks such as transforming and combining.
As the first in the series, "King Joe Strage Custom" from "Ultraman Z" broadcast in 2020 will be released.

The body is a three-dimensional completely new molding of all parts. The figure is a playable monster figure with a "light-emitting" gimmick that was not included in previous DX toys, not to mention the improved reproduction of modeling and coloring.

Voice and light-emitting gimmick

The head unit is equipped with multiple LEDs, adding a light-emitting gimmick that has never been seen before in DX toys.
In particular, three LEDs are used on the forehead to perfectly reproduce the "relay luminescence," in which light flows from left to right. The impressive effect from the movie can be recreated right at your fingertips.

In addition to the voice of Haruki Natsukawa (played by Hirano Hiromu) and Yoko Nakashima (played by Matsuda Rima), members of the "Strage" team that appeared in "Ultraman Z", the sound of the King Joe Strage Custom's launch and attack sounds, as well as various other sounds, have been recorded as they appeared in the movie.

The robot mode, separate mode, tank mode, and each state can be played with more realistic sounds.

Movable and Transformable Gimmick

All parts have been newly designed to greatly improve the reproducibility of the modeling surface and the range of motion.
Movable points have been added to the elbow of the right arm (Pedanium Launcher) and the wrist of the left arm (Pedanium Hammer), allowing poses that were not possible with the DX version to be reproduced.

In addition, ball joints have been added to the ankles, allowing the figure to stand in a robot-like "C" position.

Transformation and combining gimmicks can also be fully reproduced. In robot mode, the pedanium hammer can be automatically deployed by pressing a switch on the left shoulder, and the three-mode transformation into four separate "separate mode" and "tank mode" is also covered.
