Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2022, Capcom's "Street Fighter" series is a milestone in fighting games. Street Fighter 6" (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam) is the latest numbered title to commemorate the anniversary and features new elements such as "World Tour," an immersive single-player story mode.

On June 7, 2023, Capcom announced that it had sold 1 million copies of "Street Fighter 6" worldwide.

The "Street Fighter" series was first introduced in 1987 as an arcade game, followed by "Street Fighter II," introduced in 1991, which was a huge hit due to its innovative fighting system. Since then, the "Street Fighter II" series has sold more than 50 million units and has been a long-selling series around the world until its 35th anniversary. In recent years, "Street Fighter 6" has also become a driving force in the fighting game genre of e-sports.

Street Fighter 6" is a new-generation fighting game released after a seven-year absence. In addition to the best battle experience in the fighting genre, "Street Fighter 6" features the new "World Tour" mode, which allows players to create their own avatars and travel around the Street Fighter world, and the new "Battle Hub," where players can interact with each other. The game also features a variety of other user-oriented features, such as a new control method tailored for both beginners and experienced players, and enhanced "sound accessibility" to aid in the game experience without the use of visual information.
