A new video of Nintendo Switch "Pikmin 4" has been released.

Pikmin 4, the latest installment in the "Pikmin" series, will be released on July 21, 2023. In this title, the main character lands on a mysterious planet inhabited by dangerous protozoa. He searches for those in distress with the help of the mysterious creatures he encounters there, the Pikmin.

What are Pikmin?
Pikmin follow you around when you pull them off the ground. Pikmin work hard for the main character in various situations, such as carrying heavy things and knocking down walls.

Pikmin are also brave enough to face protozoa; each Pikmin is weak and sometimes eaten, but together, many Pikmin can defeat even the largest of opponents.

There are various types of Pikmin. Red Pikmin are resistant to fire, blue Pikmin can swim underwater, and so on.

The newly discovered "Ice Pikmin" can freeze protozoa and water surfaces. The main characters can also move on the frozen ice by giving instructions to the ice pikmin.

The space dog "Otchin" works together with the main character. Occhin can carry heavy objects by himself, or carry the main character and Pikmin across water with him on his back. It can also trace the scent of the object you are looking for and take you to its location.
