Official Live Report
*Original text
Valkyrie's final tour started on May 20. Valkyrie delivered the "voice of the goddess" to their fans over the course of three weeks, performing six shows at three venues, including Tokyo, Osaka, and an additional show at Makuhari Messe. They sang all the songs on the tour except for "Valkyrie's Birthday Song," including daily medleys and songs that changed each day, making for the best and most powerful set list. It was truly a tour that gave everything Valkyrie had accumulated in their eight years of activity. I would like to report on the final performance, Day-2 in Makuhari, which lasted over four hours.
Day-2 was performed by Hayate Immelmann (CV. Yuma Uchida), the main character of "Macross Delta", who was in charge of shadow narration. Before the show started, he encouraged the audience by saying, "Let's give the best wind until the end! and the audience rallied to the tune of "Let's make the best wind blow till the end! As the magnificent background music played, shaking the earth and lifting the spirits of the fans, the sound of wind could be heard from somewhere.
Melody Tubac, the singer of Heinz Nerich Windermeier, appeared on stage and sang "Aura Saara - Glowing Wind. Her beautiful voice filled the venue, and the audience swayed their white penlights as they gulped at the divinity of her voice. In the latter half of the song, a flame lit up the stage, signaling the beginning of the live performance.

Freya, Miun, Kaname, Reina, and Makina appeared in the opening movie, which started quietly from the darkness, and excited the audience. The girls running on the grassy plains and the Delta Platoon positively tackling the last mission together was an epic story that symbolized this live performance. As the video faded out with the introduction of the next song, which was newly composed, the Valkyries Miun Delta Junna, Freya Delta Suzuki Minori, Kaname Delta Kiyono Anno, Reina Delta Nao Higashiyama and Makina Delta Mochimi Nishida were standing side by side. First, they performed two songs from their debut single. The first song, "If it's just once in love," was met with a stirring response, and Miun Delta Junna sang along at the top of her lungs. The five members scattered on the mini stages and flower aisles spread throughout the large venue in Makuhari, and penlights in the colors of the members lit up around them, turning the venue into five different colors. Then, when all five members were gathered on the center stage, the audience was asked, "Last mission, whether you cry or laugh! Is everyone ready? Minori Suzuki shouted, "Are you ready? It had been a while since the last live performance on this tour where the audience was allowed to speak out loud. Even after several years of blanks, her ability to stir things up has not changed at all. She arranged the lyrics to "Wow Woh" to the audience shouting, "I'm sure you can still speak up! The four members of the group also got the audience excited from the flower aisle, and the audience's voltage was rising. The audience was getting more and more energetic, and the last five members jumped all over the stage and shouted "Gorigori-Attack! and united their hearts in one voice.
Minori Suzuki
Valkyrie, accelerating at full throttle from the beginning, showed no signs of stopping. The following song, "Ruinous Pure Passion," seemed to have turned the audience's enthusiasm up a notch. Miun Delta Junna repeatedly shouted, "Junjo, Junjo! Junjo! over and over again, and she sang her soulful songs in long tones with an emo quality. Nao Higashiyama Nao arranged "Ki-Ki-Yo" into "I love you" and shot the hearts of the audience. Then, amidst countless lasers, Valkyrie also released "Absolute Zero θ Novatic" from the stage, a beam of song with five overlapping voices. The song has a cool coolness to it, but the arrangement of the dance and the nuances in the song add a charm that only a live performance can offer.
MC in character, greeting the audience and live viewing fans. Then, "For the Galaxy" (Makina), "For Someone Else" (Reina), "Now We" (Freya), "Moment of Perfect Combustion" (Miun), "Enjoy Your Life" (Kaname), "Go! Valkyrie" and "Change !!!!!" were performed in conjunction with the key line "Valkyrie". The performance was a combination of formation dance and the five members' individuality. The formation dance, the unique vocals of the five members, and the beauty of the chorus ...... reaffirmed the balance of these five members.
After a cool down by Tatsuya Nishiwaki's piano solo, the intro of the song started to play again like the opening of a live performance. Song is Life!" (Song is love! (Song is Hope! (Song is mystery! (Song is energy! (Freya) After the character's lines, the Valkyries, who now appeared on stage in the rear, sang "Frostbite of the Lips". Soon after getting on the trolley, "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!" The trolley sped through the venue as if it reminded the audience of the ice skating performance in "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE " in which they skated above the audience. The soloists connected their songs, the five of them layered their voices together from a distance, and in the end, the feeling of going beyond the limits was irresistible. In addition, Miun Delta JUNNA and Freya Delta Minori Suzuki sang solos in "Nai nai borderline," and each of the five, when not singing, waved their hands from the trolley and made eye contact with the fans in the audience. During the interlude of this song, the twin guitars of Akinen Kuroda and Kazuma Sono started a battle for the galaxy, and the twin guitars, a first for Valkyrie live, was one of the highlights of the evening. During "Walküre Attack!" the five members, who had been delivering their songs at different places, gathered at the center stage. Miun Delta Junna, who had been singing on the main stage, finally ran down the flower path to the center stage, but Freya Delta Minori Suzuki caught her and hugged her. In the last half of the show, they were back-to-back and delivered their songs in all directions.
Kiyono Anno
After the silence, an image of Messer and Kaname from "Macross Delta the Movie: Gekijou no Valkyrie" was played. Kaname received a newly recorded message from Messer, and Messer (CV. Koki Uchiyama) sang "AXIA -Daisuki de Daikirai", which started with the line "Sing for me, Kaname-san, sing for me, Valkyrie", which was also newly recorded. Kaname Delta Kiyono Anno sang to reach Messer, and the four of them supported her. Kaname ΔAnno Kisono watches the fierce confrontation between Messer and the white knight Keith unfold on the screen. And Messer's final moments. ...... GIRAFFE BLUES" was sung by Mikumo Delta JUNNA and Freya Delta Minori Suzuki, with Kaname Delta Kiseno Yasuno joining in the middle of the song. The band then continued to play the outro, and I was moved by the soulful performance of each band member.
The atmosphere changed and now it was Yami_Q_ray's turn. Smoke was shot out from the ring above the center stage, and Yami_Q_ray appeared there to sing "Glow in the dark" by Delta JUNNA. The emotional number, which started quietly and developed boldly, drew the audience in with gusto. The camera from the center of the stage captured the five members singing and dancing in a circle facing inward. The screen showed the members' expressions, which were full of emotion, which was a cool touch. The last song was "Pretty Flowers Have Poison" by Yami_Q_ray. They sang while sitting on the flower aisles and mini-stage, and Mochimi Nishida sang while lying down.
Nao Higashiyama
Once again, Heinz's voice resounded. Melody Chuback sang "Zarde Vasa! ~Melody Chubak sang "Zarde Vasa! The new battle of Valkyrie also began with the song that foreshadowed the battle.
With the image of Macross Elysium launching, the five members, dressed in white dresses and beautiful like goddesses, descended to the main stage and sang "Valkyrie wa tomaranai" amidst the blazing flames. It was impressive to see them happily singing their solos with nuance. Keeping the momentum of the song, "Valkyrie ha Natterenai" began with a shout of "Someday I will sing until the day my voice dies," by Miun Delta Junna. The five sang in a powerful quintuple chorus, their voices all the more powerful. As if to encourage the Valkyries, they shouted, "Oi! Oi! and the audience continued to send their strength to the Valkyries. A strong bond was formed between the two groups, and they launched into "Valkyrie never give up". The song repeated over and over again, "We will never give up," symbolizing the Valkyries who have come this far because they will never give up. Everyone sang and danced through the song to the best of their ability and to the best of their voices. The last song of the block was "Mirai ha Onna no Tame ni Aru" (The Future is for Onna). The last song of the block was "Mirai wa onna no tame ni aru" (The future is for onna). The audience could catch glimpses of the five members enjoying themselves as they performed solo dances on the flower aisle.
The live performance was almost nonstop. MC'd by the characters, "Go! and "Valkyrie" were repeated to build up the tension before the last two songs. They performed "Absolute 5" on the back stage. The Valkyries showed their all-out performance, which would not be complete without any one member, with their breathtaking dance moves. Minori Suzuki shouted, "Let's enjoy the show without any regrets!" The last song of the main part was "Lun ni Hanasaku Koi wo Matteru Aru" delivered to the whole venue while riding on a trolley. Since the beginning of the tour, the band had promised "to make this a live to say thank you, not goodbye," and they went close to the audience to deliver the song and their feelings of thanks. He then proudly introduced his band members who gave the best performance of the day. It was clear that there is a great bond here as well.
Mochimi Nishida
For the encore, the band had been in T-shirts, but for the final only, they appeared in white costumes with veils as hair ornaments, and sang a medley of solo songs mainly from the album "Walküre Reborn! From "MUGENDAI DRIVE" by Miun Delta JUNNA to "Kaze ha Naikenashimasu Blow" by Freya Delta Minori Suzuki. Kikiwakenai!" in a song style. was sung by Kaname ΔKiyono Anno, and "Mada Mania" was sung by Makina ΔMochimi Nishida from the trolley with the audience, which was her long-cherished wish. Then Reina ΔNao Higashiyama delivered her inner passion in "Kizuna → Spiral.
Then, "I love you" by Freya ΔSuzuki Minori. I think they wanted her to sing this song in her wedding dress. The aisle was like an aisle, and as she walked along, she made airplanes with her hands, made runes on her forehead, and sang while thinking of Hayate and Freya. The last song, "I love you," was probably meant for the members of Valkyrie.
During the final MC, each member tearfully shared their feelings not as a character but as an individual. Kiyono Yasuno expressed her gratitude to the anime staff and the Valkyrie team. She expresses her great appreciation to the band members in particular, saying, "Without you, we would not have been able to weave the history of our live performance. This is not a breakup or a graduation. We are Valkyrie for the rest of our lives," said Nao Higashiyama, who expressed her special feelings for Valkyrie, revealing that she was a little sad but equally happy. Mochimi Nishida expressed her passion, love, and many thanks to each member. I feel that the bond of Valkyrie has grown deeper and deeper because of her presence. JUNNA then expressed her gratitude for having met Valkyrie and "Macross Delta". She also expressed her gratitude to Ami Koshimizu, the voice actress who created Migumo with her singing and voice. It was precious to see her crying as she spoke, as if she had not changed much from when she first debuted. Lastly, Minori Suzuki expressed her feelings for Freya. She confides that she sang the same lyrics to the song "I love you" when the lyrics skipped. The lyrics were "It was you who changed me into a special girl," and she said, "I thought, 'I wanted to tell Freya. She then said emphatically that she is proudest of "Macross Delta" in the long history of "Macross" for having made it this far thanks to the cheers of the fans.
After the MC, Freya Delta Minori Suzuki started to walk down the flower aisle and performed "Ringo no Uta" a cappella. The five sang "ALIVE ~Prayer Song~" while leaning in close together, and everyone in the audience sang "La la la la la" in chorus, ending with the five singing "I love you with all my heart. The final part of the song, "I love you from the bottom of my heart," was sung by all five of them together.
The audience was moved by the intro of the song "Koi! The MC had said that Valkyrie is a unit that will be formed in the future, and this song made the audience believe that Valkyrie will continue to sing somewhere in the galaxy. Mission" with a song that made the audience believe that this was not the end and that Valkyrie would continue to sing somewhere in the galaxy.
At the end of the performance, it was announced that a new anime of "Macross" series would be produced and that Sunrise would be in charge of the animation production. Macross Delta" and Valkyrie have now officially passed the baton. What surprises await us next?
