Akiba Research Institute's official project "Popularity Poll for 2023 Summer Anime to Watch" has started. The deadline for voting is June 20.

We are entering the final stage of the spring 2023 anime season. Many of you are probably checking out the next 2023 summer anime.

In such a situation, Akiba Research Institute's annual official project "What will you watch next season? The "2023 Summer Anime Popularity Poll" started on June 6.

This season, there is a heavy traffic jam of otherworldly/transformed-incarnation anime. The most popular ones include "Unemployed Reincarnation II: Isekai Tensei Iitai de Ippai de Motoi","Helck", "Hero Classroom", and "Vending Machine Reincarnated Me: Labyrinth Wandering", and others.

The next most popular type of manga was romantic comedies. New works such as "Yumemiru Otoko wa Jissai-sha" and "Tempuru", as well as sequels to popular series such as "五等分の花嫁∽" and "Kanojo, Ouboushimasu" 3rd season are also worth keeping an eye on.

The Shonen Jump series, which had a bumper crop in the spring anime season, are scarce this season, but fans have high expectations for the second season of "Jujutsu Kaisen," which will depict the high school days of popular characters Gojo Satoru and Natsuyui Suguru.
