As in previous titles that have received great acclaim, Insomniac Games is responsible for the development of the game, in collaboration with PlayStation and Marvel Games.

Explore an even more expansive open world with the addition of Queens and Brooklyn to the island of Manhattan. Players can switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, two Spider-Men, almost instantly.

Each of the two Spider-Men have their own unique abilities and can enjoy exclusive stories and missions.

The downloadable version of the game will be available at PlayStation Store from June 16, 2023 (Fri.), and the packaged version will be available for pre-order at PlayStation retailers and various e-commerce sites nationwide.

In addition to the standard edition, a "Digital Deluxe Edition" that adds various in-game items to the main game and a "Collector's Edition" with a limited edition 19-inch figure and STEELBOOK display case will also be available.

Both products will include the in-game items "Early Unlock of 2 Suits and 3 Color Variations", "Web Catcher" gadget, and 3 skill points as an early purchase bonus for the packaged version/pre-order bonus for the downloadable version.
