On January 5 (Sat), an advance screening event was held at United Cinema Toyosu, where the TV anime "Kaguya-sama ga Keshirakasai ~Tensai-tachi no Koi Toushi no Kokoro Kumasen~" will start airing on MBS, TOKYO MX, BS11, and other networks from January 12 (Sat), 2019. The official report has just arrived.

The official report is as follows.

The TV anime will finally start airing on MBS, TOKYO MX, BS11, etc. on January 12 (Sat), and an event consisting of an advance screening and a talk session with the main cast was held at United Cinema Toyosu on January 5 (Sat), prior to the start of the anime.

After the screening of the first episode, the humorous "shadow narration" by the narrator of the film, Minoru Aoyama, was played in the theater, and it was announced that the second episode would be screened after the first.

After the laughter and excitement, Aoi Koga as Kaguya Shinomiya, vice president of the Shuchiin Academy Student Council, Shin Furukawa as Goko Shiragin, president, Yoshimi Obara as Senka Fujiwara, secretary, and Yosota Suzuki as Yu Ishigami, treasurer, took the stage for a cast talk event. The four were greeted with warm cheers from the 400-strong audience as they took the stage together as the very "Shuchiin Academy Student Council".

The talk event began with New Year's greetings and a discussion of how they had spent the New Year's holidays. The cast, who had all returned to their parents' homes, shared heartwarming episodes such as going to see the sunrise with their families and having dinner with their classmates whom they hadn't seen in over 10 years in their hometown.

When asked about their impressions of the first and second episodes, behind-the-scenes stories from the recording sessions, and future highlights, many interesting things were said, such as "the episode where he speaks French," "the episode where Fujiwara raps," and "the episode where Ishigami is creepy. He said that he hoped that viewers would look forward to the second and subsequent episodes every week to see when the storyline would be aired.

Finally, as a New Year's event, the audience was asked to write their aspirations and goals for the year in one kanji character, which was then surrounded by the logo of this work in the form of a heart mark.
The kanji for each of them were "win" for Koga, "思" for Furukawa, "負" for Obara, and "越" for Suzuki.
When asked why, Koga said, "I want Kaguya to continue winning the love brainstorming competition, and I myself want to beat myself from last year. This year, I want to be a woman who wins and wins and wins! she declared. Ms. Suzuki drew laughter from the audience when she unexpectedly said, "I want to move out of my parents' house." She also expressed her resolution for the first year of her 20s, saying, "Last year I became an adult, and I want to surpass my teenage self in my 20s.

At the end of the event, the audience took a commemorative selfie session with the actors and actresses, and each expressed their enthusiasm for the TV anime "Kaguya-sama wa narushirasai ~Tensai-tachi no koi no kashirazu~," which will start airing next Saturday, January 12, and the event ended with a great success. The event ended on a high note.

The following are comments from the guests on stage.

Aoi Koga (Aoi Koga plays Kaguya Shinomiya)
I feel what Ms. Furukawa said about the show being created by everyone, and I am grateful to be able to play Kaguya Shinomiya in the show. With only one week left until the broadcast, I will do my best so that everyone who came to the screening today, everyone who is looking forward to the on-air broadcast, and many more people will love this work, so please continue to support me.

◆Shin Furukawa (Goko Shiragin)
After watching the first and second episodes, I am reminded once again that this work is really created by all the members. Each one of us plays a very unique character, and the music, direction, backgrounds, scenarios, etc... are all part of this wonderful work that creates exhilarating laughter and a romantic comedy taste between Kaguya and Shiragane. I will continue to do my best as Shiragin Goko.

◆Yoshimi Kohara (as Chika Fujiwara)
After watching the first and second episodes, I felt that the show is about to air in no time. I hope that we, as a team of "Kaguya-sama", will continue to develop various things to make the show more exciting together with our fans. Thank you for your support.

◆Suzuki Yoshiaki (Yu Ishigami)
I hope you will enjoy the flirtatiousness of the Shuchiin Academy Student Council members as well as the number of episodes Ishigami will appear in!
