Konami Digital Entertainment announced that METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam) will be released on October 24, 2023 (Tuesday). The "Metal Gear" series is the most popular series in the "Metal Gear" franchise, which has been released in the U.S. since the "Metal Gear" series began.

The "Metal Gear" series is about the extreme tension of "going undercover to avoid detection. The first game in the series, "METAL GEAR", was released in 1987, and in 2022, the first "METAL GEAR" was released in Japan. GEAR" was released in 1987, and 2022 marks the 35th anniversary of the series.

METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1", which will be released this time, will include a collection of the three games in the series, "METAL GEAR SOLID", "METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY" and "METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER".
