Autumn Anime "Megumi no Daigo: Orange of Salvation" Announces Additional Cast Members, Including Yuichi Nakamura, and Comments Arrive! World's fastest advance screening at LA Anime Expo!

Additional cast members have been announced for the fall anime "Megumi no Daigo: Salvation Orange," which will air on the Yomiuri and Nippon Television networks nationwide.

The story is about Daigo Asahina, a rookie firefighter, and has won the Excellence Award in the Manga Division at the 2nd Japan Media Arts Festival. The current work, "Daigo of Megumi: Orange of Salvation," is a sequel to "Megumi no Daigo" and is currently serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine.
The TV anime "Daigo of Megumi: Orange of Salvation" will begin airing in the fall of 2023 on Yomiuri and Nippon Television networks nationwide. It depicts a story of three young firefighters who compete with each other to become members of the "Special Rescue Team," a.k.a. "Orange," an elite unit within the firefighting organization, and how they grow up to save people from the brink of death.

The cast of the anime "Megumi no Daigo: Orange of Salvation" has been announced.

The cast includes Toru Inada as Kyosuke Yamakami, the chief of the Fuwa Fire Department's Special Rescue Team, who was a devilish instructor during Daigo's training period and later became a member of Daigo and Shun; Yohei Azaue as Hasebe, a Special Rescue Team trainee who trains with Daigo and Shun; Ryota Iwasaki as Wataru, also a trainee; and Yuichi Nakamura as Sadaya Tsumata, the first member of the Fuwa Fire Department's rival special rescue team, and the first member of the Ginger Valley Fire Department's special rescue team, who is a member of the Fuwa Fire Department. The cast includes Yuichi Nakamura as Sadaya Somasa, a member of the special rescue team and rival of the Fuwa Fire Department.

Toru Inada, who plays Kyosuke Yamagami, commented, "I'm sweating profusely and yelling even though I have the air conditioner on the lowest setting. He is as passionate as the passionate souls of Daigo, Yuki, and Shun who have grown up together.

In addition, "Daigo of Megumi: Salvation Orange" will be screened at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, U.S.A. from July 1. The long-awaited first episode will be shown at this large-scale anime event that attracts attention from around the world.

I am ashamed to say... I had never seen this work "Daigo Megumi" before I decided to participate in this event.
Of course, I knew the title, so I thought, "I have to read it before the recording session," and started reading it for a few days!
The stories were all really hot, and there were many times when I cried as I read along. I was even more worried about whether I would be able to do the recording properly if I was so moved...!
