The first episode of the summer anime "AYAKA," which will begin airing on July 1, 2023 (Saturday), has been released with a synopsis and advance cuts.

A completely new original anime "AYAKA" is produced by writer group GoRA and King Record. Set on the strange "Ayaka Island" inhabited by beings called "Mitama," the story depicts the sad yet beautiful bond between men with destiny in the relationships of partner, master and disciple, rival, and brother.

<Synopsis
A shy boy, Yukito Yatsunagi, lives in a children's home and tries not to get involved with other people as much as possible. He lives in a children's home, but upon graduating from junior high school, he is supposed to return to the island where he was born. However, after the graduation ceremony, Yukito is picked up by Sagawa Tadayoshi, a young man sitting on a wall with a can of chu-hai in one hand and a yankee in the other, who claims to be his late father's apprentice.

<Synopsis
Sachito Yatsunagi is a boy who grew up in an orphanage on the mainland. One day, an unruly young man named Sagawa Tadayoshi, who claims to be his late father's apprentice, arrives and takes Sachito away to his hometown on the island of Ayagashima, a chain of seven islands.

Ayagashima, a chain of seven islands, is a strange island with strong legends of fire and water dragons, and mysterious beings called "Mitama" inhabit the island as a matter of course.

Kohito begins to live on Ayagashima, working with his father's three disciples, who were hermits who protected the harmony of the island. However, there was a deep feud between two of Jiyoshi's brothers, Kurama Haruaki and Ibuki Shu.

On the island of "Ayakai," where harmony has begun to break down, Sachito is confronted with the truth...

GoRA and King Record have teamed up to create a completely new original animation "AYAKA.

Set on the island of Ayaka, a chain of seven islands, GoRA, a group of writers, depicts a sad yet beautiful story of the relationship between partners, teachers and students, good rivals, and brothers, and the sad yet beautiful bond between men who each have their own destiny to fulfill.

The series is composed and written by GoRA, the characters are drafted by illustrator redjuice, who has drafted many famous works, directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama, character design by Misaki Kaneko, production design by Naoya Tanaka, and animation production by Studio Blanc.
