Broadcasting starts on July 8 (Sat.)! Summer Anime "Liar Liar" Episode 1 Synopsis, Scene Cuts, and Character PV!

The first episode of the TV anime "Liar Liar," which will start airing on July 8 (Sat), has been released with a synopsis, scene cuts, and a new character PV.

The original story is a "must-lose" school brain game and romantic comedy currently being published by MF Bunko J (written by Haruki Hisaoi). The story is about the main character, Hiroto Shinohara, who uses lies and bluffing to win in the Academy, a school island where students' ranks are determined by dueling <games>.

The TV anime "Liar Liar" will start airing on July 8 (Sat) at 10:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX, Sun TV, and other stations. The synopsis of the first episode and some scenes from the first episode have been released.

On the same day, a live special program commemorating the first broadcast was held on ABEMA. The cast will be presenting a variety of programs based on the story, so please look forward to it.

Synopsis and scene cuts

Episode 1 "The King and the Lie
An island where the elite of the elite play brain games, known as the "Academy".
Shinohara Hiroto is the strongest in the academy. On his first day at his new school, he defeats the absolute champion, Saionji Sarasa, and obtains the title of the strongest, "Seven Stars. ...... However, this is all a lie. The truth is that Hiroto, a dropout, is playing the role of the strongest in the academy in order to achieve a certain goal.
On the other hand, Sarasa, the "absolute champion," is also harboring a big lie. The two decide to cooperate and protect each other's lies.
