Speaking of Akihabara, ramen is "Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen Bankara Akihabara Branch" ramen for 850 yen!
When you come to Akihabara, you may have a hard time deciding where to have lunch.
To help you decide, here are some Akiba eats recommended by Shun Gori, who is a regular visitor to Akihabara even when he has nothing else to do.
As an Akibaite who likes to spend money on his hobbies, I assume that the amount of money you can spend for lunch should be within 1,000 yen.
Now, thinking about what to eat, I thought, "After all, Akiba is all about ramen!" So this time, I visited "Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen Bankara Akihabara Branch.
BANGKara is located next to UDX, about a 3-minute walk from the Electric Town exit of Akihabara Station.
The restaurant has a counter seating for 17 people and table seating for 32, making it quite spacious for a ramen restaurant in Akihabara.
There is no specific lunch menu, and customers can choose from the regular or seasonal menu with toppings such as seasoned egg and nori.
Since my budget was less than 1,000 yen, I was tempted to order the "Kakuni Bankara" (1,120 yen including tax), but I held back and ordered the "Bankara" (850 yen including tax), which is also the name of the restaurant.
I asked the waiter, "What do you recommend? The waitress replied, "All of them. All of them are as good as each other, so you can order "Tonkotsu Shoyu", "Tonkotsu", "Tsukemen", etc., according to your own taste.
Here is the "Bankara" I ordered this time.
The soup is rich in back fat, which can only be obtained from a few kilograms of one pig, and the noodles are medium thick and satisfying. It is served with a variety of toppings such as nori (laver) and menma (pickled bamboo shoots).
The noodles are chewy and have a slightly sweet taste. The noodles are chewy and have a slight sweetness to them, and the fat on the back of the noodle is very tasty. The back fat melts into the noodle as you eat it, changing the flavor of the noodle.
If you are looking for a pork bone and soy sauce ramen that packs a punch, this is the place to go.
By the way, if you want a basic tonkotsu ramen, we recommend "Tonkotsu" (pork bone) ramen.
There is also a lighter version, "Chuka-soba," which combines a glass broth with seafood broth, so those who do not like the rich type of ramen can also enjoy it.
The attention to detail at this ramen restaurant is truly heartbreaking. We hope that you will choose the flavor that best suits your tastes.
