The summer anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," which will start airing on July 6, 2023, has released advance scene cuts and a synopsis showing the beginning of the story. In addition, an official interview with Yuichi Nakamura, who plays Satoru Gojo, has arrived.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" by Akutomi Geshita. The story depicts the fierce battle between the main character, Yujin Toraje, who has been cursed by the "double-sided Tsuina finger", and his friends of the Jujutsu Kaisen, which will be made into a TV anime in October 2020, and "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie", which is scheduled to be released in March 2013. The first episode of the second season, "Kaitama", which will start airing from July 6 on Thursdays from 23:56 on 28 MBS/TBS stations nationwide, has been released with an advance scene cutout showing the beginning of the story and a synopsis.

In addition, an official interview with Yuichi Nakamura, who plays the main character Satoru Gojo, was released prior to the broadcast of "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "Kaidama/Tamaori". <Synopsis
The magician Utame and Meimei are sent to investigate a Western-style house where many people have gone missing. After infiltrating the Western-style house and discovering the warding techniques of the jurei, the two take action to break the wards, but suddenly the building begins to collapse. The two are thrown into the air, and at that moment, what appears before their eyes is... 2006. It is the year 2006, and the two strongest people begin a blue spring from which there is no return.

What was your impression when you read the original story and the scenario of "Kaitama/Tamaori"?
It is an episode that gives us an idea of what happened in the past, which is necessary as a prerequisite for the flow of the story. The name "Tengen," which is very important in the main story, is mentioned. I had the impression that it would explain the origins of this world, or rather, what the world was like, so even though it is a story about the past, I thought it was an important story that would lead us to the future.

What do you think are the highlights of "Kaitama, Tamaori"?
Gojo: Satoru was born with high abilities, but they are awakened through this episode. I think the highlight of the film will be to see how his abilities grow.

Q: What do you find attractive about Satoru Gojo, the character you play?
What I have always answered is "I don't know," and that's all I can say. I myself have to make the character "live" in this work, so I don't think that this is what makes him attractive, and I don't know. ...... When I watch the on-air show, there are scenes that I think are cool, but I don't know what exactly is cool about him. For me, for other characters, I sometimes think they are cool because I can see their growth, backbone, and many other aspects. In that sense this time, we get to see a little bit of the backbone of Gojo, who is said to be the strongest, so I hope people find that attractive."

Q: How was it playing the young Satoru Gojo?
Satoru: "It is very difficult to put into words how I play the role of young Satoru Gojo, because it is a sensual part of my character. This time, I asked myself, "Is there something more lax about him? I imagined that she might be more lax, or that she might have "confidence," even though she has no evidence to back it up, and reconstructed the character. The Gojo I have played so far is a character who has fought against various powerful enemies and has a lot of experience. So I felt I had to take that experience away from him.

Q. Please give us your enthusiasm for the broadcast and a message to the viewers.
After the first season of the TV series and "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie," the time is approaching when we will be able to present the continuation of the original story. This time, from the start, you will get to know the character of Satoru Gojo more deeply. After that, we feel that the series will have more battles than the first season. The main characters will be going through some tough battles, but I am sure it will be exciting (laughs), so I hope that you will join me in making the series more exciting. Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga series by Akutomi Shimoji, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine.
