The title of the third "Sumikko Gurashi the Movie" has been decided as "Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: Tsugihagi Factory no Fushigi na Ko" and will be released on November 3 (Fri., holiday). In addition, a teaser visual and a special trailer were unveiled for the first time.

Sumikko Gurashi, a popular character with a slightly negative and surrealistic worldview that is not only cute but also loved by children and adults alike, was born in 2012 with the keyword "Koko ga ochiruku nondemo" (This place is calm), and this year marks its 10th anniversary.

In 2019, the first theatrical animation "Sumikko Gurashi the Movie: Sumikko Gurashi, the Storybook of Sumikko and Himitsuno no Ko" will be released. The film was a surprisingly family-friendly animated film that "made adults cry involuntarily," which ignited a fire mainly on social networking sites and drew 1.22 million viewers. The film won the Japan Film Critics Award for Best Animated Film, and was also screened overseas.

In the depths of the forest, a toy factory with a hagiographic appearance appears through the trees, and a new character, "Kuma Factory Manager," peeks out at Sumikko and her friends from behind a tree.
In the special video, Shirokuma accidentally presses a switch when he slips inside the toy factory, and when the factory starts operating, the Kuma Factory Chief appears from behind the door.
Sumiko and her friends learn how to make toys from the factory manager, and Pengin? The story comically depicts Sumikko and her friends learning how to make toys from the factory foreman, and Pengin? Penguins, Tonkatsu, a cat, a lizard, and Minicco are also shown for the first time wearing their toy factory uniforms.
