Izanagi Games x Acquire "AMEDAMA" will be released on Steam! Boxyard-style, side-scrolling possession action adventure

Izanagi Games and Acquire have teamed up to release a new game "AMEDAMA" for Steam.

AMEDAMA" is a new game by Izanagi Games and ACQUIRE Corporation, the developer of "Yuusha no Kurenai Namaiki da! and "Samurai Road" by ACQUIRE Co.

Character design is by luck (Fate/Grand Order, Shiken Ranbu) and music by Yuko Komagaki (Monster Hunter series). A new 2D expression that fuses Japanese and dots is adopted.

The game will be released on Steam in 2023.

One rainy night, mysterious men suddenly appear at the umbrella shop run by a brother and sister, and the brother is killed in front of the sister's eyes. Yushin, the elder brother, who is now only a soul, fights many battles while possessing other people's bodies, and pursues the truth of the incident and the course of his younger sister Yui.
Can he save his sister in the seven days until his soul disappears?
A story of fire and reincarnation set in the late Edo period with a new 2D representation of the world.

The story takes place at the end of the Edo period in Aihama.

When he comes to, his sister is gone and only his own corpse lies on the floor.
The brother has become nothing more than a soul.
In order to search for his sister, he possesses other people one after another.
This is the story of a man who has lost his Ubeki-body.
A single incident occurs in a quiet place.
The deep darkness and overlapping conspiracies that spread from there.
He cannot die until he saves Yui.
He will rescue Yui even if he has to become a soul and take over another person's obedient body.
Can he save his sister in the seven days when her soul disappears?
How is the fate of the younger sister overlapping with the reincarnation of the soul?
