A special event report commemorating the 1st anniversary of the release of the movie "YuruCan△" has arrived! The well-known main cast members gathered in large numbers!

The "YURU CAN-△" movie was released nationwide in July 2022. To commemorate the first anniversary of the film's release, a special event featuring the main cast was held on July 9, 2023, at Westa Kawagoe Grand Hall in Saitama.

YuruCan△," set in Yamanashi Prefecture, is a popular work that depicts the outdoor life of high school girls in a relaxed manner.

On the day of the event, familiar main cast members including Yumiri Hanamori, who plays Nadeshiko Kakamigahara, and Nao Higashiyama, who plays Rin Shima, gathered in large numbers. Asaki Hana, who sings the opening theme song, also made an appearance and sang "Sun Is Coming Up".

The "YuruCan△" movie was released in July last year and received favorable reviews. To commemorate the first anniversary of the film's release, a special event was held at Westa Kawagoe Grand Hall in Saitama on July 9, 2023, with the main cast members on stage.

The "YuruCan△" camper and Shima Lynn's motorcycle were on display in the plaza outside the venue, attracting many fans and passersby.

During the "Daytime Performance," Yumiri Hanamori, who plays Nadeshiko Kakamigahara, Nao Higashiyama, who plays Rin Shima, Sayuri Hara, who plays Chiaki Ogaki, Aki Toyosaki, who plays Aoi Inuyama, Riyo Takahashi, who plays Ena Saito, and Hana Asaki, who sang the OP theme "Sun Is Coming Up" took the stage with Chiaki Matsuzawa as the host. The audience enjoyed a wide variety of corners.

The event began with a "reading play. The "Fujikawa Pineapple Campsite" established by Nadeshiko and her friends in the story will celebrate its first anniversary, and the five members thought of various ideas for the anniversary event. One after another, they came up with new ideas, such as "I want to put camping tools on display for people to look at freely" (Lynn), "Lynn's motorcycle on display" (Saito), "I want to hold an outdoor concert" (Chiaki), and so on. Finally, Chiaki suggested, "The theme should be 'festival'! and the day of the event finally arrived.

After greeting the audience and the fans who were enjoying the distribution, the first attraction (corner) was "How a campsite was built". The audience shared their memories while watching famous scenes from the movie projected on the big screen.
In response to the scene where Nadeshiko and Lynn soak in a hot spring together and talk about the future, Hanamori and Higashiyama said, "I remember how we were all smitten at the recording studio with ...... after becoming such wonderful adults.

The next attraction was "Let's make a guide for the campsite," in which the five participants worked together to complete an illustrated guide for the campsite.
Toyosaki-san, who was the first to start, drew a large picture of Chikuwa (Saito's dog), and Hara-san suggested a "toilet that can accommodate 100 people," resulting in a unique guide board! Lastly, Mr. Takahashi gave the presentation "Fujikawa Pineapple Campsite - There are toilets. Many toilets. There are many toilets! The audience laughed and applauded when Mr. Takahashi titled the sign "Fujikawa Matsubokuri Campsite -There are toilets.
The sign was displayed in the lobby of the venue after the show.

Next was the "outdoor concert" proposed by Chiaki during the reading play. Ms. Asaka appeared on stage and sang "Sun Is Coming Up. When I went to see the movie with Mr. Higashiyama, I told him that I might have sang a little too maturely, but he was very complimentary. He complimented me very much, and that cleared up my confusion during the recording session.
Eri Sasaki, who unfortunately could not attend the event, appeared in a video message. She sang "Mimosa" to the accompaniment of guitar music.

The reading was performed again. The Thanksgiving Day was a great success, and the five members were full of hope as they talked about their thoughts for the second year and the 100th year to come.

In the announcement corner, a teaser visual for "Yuru Can △ SEASON 3" scheduled to air in 2024 was unveiled for the first time. Messages from Yoshiaki Kyogoku, the director of the previous series, and Susumu Tosaka, the new director, were also introduced, which drew applause from the audience.

The event was already drawing to a close. The event came to an end early, and the performers gave their final messages.

The other day, I talked to a member of the movie staff, and he told me that even after a year has passed, his passion for the movie has not yet waned. Today's event has reaffirmed to me that "YuruCan△" is loved by many people. I believe those feelings will lead to "SEASON 3"!" (Mr. Hara)

One year has passed since the screening, and I could feel a sense of accomplishment still lingering among the staff I met at the launch party, as if they had created a wonderful work. In "SEASON 3," the setting returns to the high school days, and I think you can see that the extension of the setting is connected to the world of the film. I look forward to your continued support!" When I hear people say they are fans of "YuruCan△" on the set, I am filled with joy even when I am not voicing Nadeshiko. My favorite catchphrase of "YuruCan△" is "Surely, we are connected by the sky. I think "SEASON 3" is a work that connects the soul, the air, and the seasons.
