The long-awaited TV anime adaptation of the hit TV drama and live-action movie, "I Can Become a Wizard If I'm a Virgin Until I'm 30," nicknamed "Cheri Maho," is now set to begin.

The popular BL manga, "I Can Become a Wizard If I'm a Virgin Until I'm 30" (original story by Yuu Toyoda), is currently being serialized in "Gungan pixiv" (published by Gungan pixiv, Square Enix). It is abbreviated as "Chelimaho. It is a 100% pure love comedy in which the main character, Adachi, who has turned 30 while still a virgin, obtains "magic that allows him to read the minds of those he touches" and accidentally discovers that Kurosawa, a good looking guy who works at his office, has feelings for him.
The pure storyline and the characters' endearing personalities have attracted attention and sympathy, and the work is popular among a wide range of people, especially among women. A live-action TV drama will be broadcast in 2020, and a live-action movie will be made in April 2022, so the "Cherry Maho whirlwind" shows no sign of abating.

The animation is produced by Satellite, directed by Yoshiko Okuda, and the characters are designed by Yoshiko Kishida, who is also a character designer for the "HIQUE! series, Takahiro Kishida will be in charge of character design.

In conjunction with the decision to make an anime, a teaser visual of the two main characters, Adachi and Kurosawa, was also released.

The visual depicts the main character, Adachi, who has acquired the magical power to "read the minds of those he touches," and is perplexed that his colleague, Kurosawa, is leaking the voice of his heart that favors him, and is close to the image of the original work.
