Masked Rider 555] "Masked Rider Next Phaze," a new type of Phaze, will be exhibited in a standing statue at "THE Masked Rider Exhibition" in Osaka!

The new Phaze [Masked Rider Next Phaze] unveiled in the teaser visual for V Cinext's "Masked Rider 555 20th Paradise Reign" will be on display at the "50th Anniversary THE Masked Rider Exhibition" at Hirakata Park in Osaka from July 15, 2023 (Saturday). A standing statue of [Masked Rider Next Phaze] and Autobahzin, Takumi Inui's sidekick, will be on display.

Masked Rider 555 (Faiz) is the fourth in the Heisei Masked Rider series, which aired from January 2003 to January 2004 on the TV Asahi network. The main character, a young man named Takumi Inui (Kento Handa), fights as Masked Rider Faiz when he encounters a girl named Mari Sonoda (Yuria Haga) who has a special transformation tool called "Faiz Gear" and is attacked by a deformed monster named Orphenok. Unlike the previous series, the story depicted the anguish of the monster's side, and the ensemble drama that was not a simple dualism of good and evil drew a great deal of attention.

The "Masked Rider 555: 20th Paradise Reign" will be screened for a limited time in 2024 and released on Blu-ray and DVD.
This film will be a legitimate sequel that takes place 20 years after the last episode of the TV series, and features the original cast. The cast includes Kento Handa as Takumi Inui, Yuria Haga as the heroine Mari Sonoda, Kohei Murakami as Masato Soka, and Mitsuru Karahashi as Naoya Kaido.

I heard that this is your first new work in 20 years.
I have a lot of fond memories of Phi's. It was the first time I had the opportunity to design a driver.
The first transformation belt I designed was the Phi's Driver.
I was very excited to hear about a new work after 20 years, and I am grateful to be able to work on Faiz again at this time.

What was important to you when designing?
At the time, the design team had a common keyword of incorporating the latest details and shapes into heroes and items.
Therefore, we were most careful to update the design of the Phize series, which from today's perspective, 20 years later, may seem a bit nostalgic, to be appropriate for the modern age while retaining the flavor of the time.

Points of Interest
I would have to say the transformation belt. We believe that the joint work with Bandai will allow us to create a new Faiz driver that is suitable for the modern age.
We hope that you will look forward to the gimmicks of the transformation belt that will be revealed in the future, as well as the new work.
The new transformation belt is not just a refinement of the original Faiz, but we have designed it from the perspective of enhancing the character's individuality.
