Sony Interactive Entertainment will release "Firewall Ultra" for PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) on August 25, 2023. Pre-orders for the downloadable version are available at PlayStation Store (PS Store) starting Wednesday, July 19.

Firewall Ultra" is the latest in the "Firewall" series, which has evolved dramatically for PS VR2.
Players join a mercenary squad in a shadowy underworld of multiplayer tactical action that puts them in harm's way. Players will develop their own strategies and play styles, and use a variety of high-tech equipment to carry out top-secret missions.

The game is compatible with PlayStation VR2 and will be released on Friday, August 25, 2023. Pre-orders for the downloadable version are now available at PlayStation Store (PS Store).

Form an elite squad of contractors, gain fame and expand your equipment and arsenal, and play cooperatively with up to four other teams in 4-on-4 PvP and advanced PvE matches. Complete your objectives while eliminating targets and covering for each other. Communication is the key to mission accomplishment; use the PS VR2's built-in microphone for direct conversation to share information with your friends, and sometimes use intuitive gestures with the finger touch function of the PS VR2 Sense controller to get under the enemy's radar.

Use the unique skills of each contractor to expand your tactical options and develop your strategy. It's up to you to decide which weapons, loadouts, and skills you want to combine to accomplish your mission.

Tactical Loadouts
From short, medium, and long-range weapons to door blockers, devices that block your opponent's sight and hearing, and even flashlights, loadouts can be tactically customized to your liking.

Eye tracking functionality
The PS VR2 headset's 4K HDR display*2 and foveated rendering deliver a next-generation visual experience. You can also avoid flashbang flashes by closing your eyes.

■Haptic Feedback
Recoil when shooting, shaking of weapon frames, player interaction, and the sensation of moving through critical points and space can be experienced more realistically.

Adaptive Trigger
Reproduces the trigger resistance of various firearms in the game.

3D Audio*3
Realistic sounds such as enemy footsteps, direction and distance of gunfire, and explosions are played back in response to the player's position and head movements.
