TV Anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" 2nd Cool Production Decided! Trailer video released!

The second season of the TV anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" is now in production.

Based on the action RPG "NieR:Automata," which was released by Square Enix in 2017 and has sold more than 6.5 million units worldwide. In a far future where mankind has been defeated by the overwhelming power of machine life on the moon, "2B," a member of the android unit "Yoruha," throws himself into a fierce battle to retake the earth.
NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" has been broadcast from January to March 2023 up to the 8th episode (Chapter.8), and on July 23 (Sun.), the 9th episode (Chapter.9) and 4 episodes thereafter were broadcast all at once on TV.

＜Introduction
The year is 5012.
The human race is in danger of extinction due to the sudden arrival of "aliens" and the "mechanical life forms" they have created.
The few humans who managed to escape to the moon launched a counter-offensive using "android" soldiers in order to retake the earth.
However, the battle is stalemated by the endless proliferation of "mechanical life forms.
Humanity dispatches a squad of new androids, the "Yoruha," to Earth as a final weapon.
The newly dispatched <2B> joins up with the advance investigator <9S> and goes on a mission, but in the process, they encounter a number of unexplainable phenomena.

This is the story of a lifeless android who continues to fight for humanity.
