Hot Toys Japan has announced a new "Kamen Rider BLACK SUN" product line.

Hot Toys is a Hong Kong-based toy company that produces high-end realistic 1/6 scale figures with more than 30 points of articulation. Hot Toys has developed a variety of series, starting with "Movie Masterpiece," which is a series of high-quality sculptures of attractive characters mainly from Hollywood movies. This time, the Japanese "Masked Rider" has been sculpted for the first time by Hot Toys. From the "TV Masterpiece" series, a 1/6 scale figure of "Masked Rider BLACK SUN," which is now available exclusively on Prime Video worldwide, has been announced.

The lineup includes two figures, Masked Rider BLACK SUN and Masked Rider SHADOWMOON, as well as Masked Rider BLACK SUN's motorcycle, Battle Hopper.
Masked Rider BLACK SUN and Masked Rider SHADOWMOON are scheduled for release in October 2023, and Battle Hopper in September 2024.

The newly sculpted head faithfully reproduces the design of the Tonosama Grasshopper motif, including the compound black eye, sensor antenna, forehead alarm point, and silver crusher.

The newly developed body with seamless joints has been elaborately finished down to the smallest detail, with attention paid to texture and detail, including the sharp spines on the defeater arms, orange sun lines on the shoulders and arms, and the ex-shell armor covering the entire body.
The black coloring, which expresses even the finest wrinkles and luster, is hand painted one by one. Armed black parts on both shoulders are detachable. The head and body are also equipped with a gimmick that reflects light when illuminated with a black light.

Two types of "Century King Sun Driver" transformation belts are included. The first is a pre- and post-transformation version with four parts that can be deployed. The second is the post-transformation version, in which the vital circuit is orange. By using each of these parts differently, you can enjoy a variety of situations.
