Robot manufacturer Robosen Robotics (Shenzhen, China) will begin pre-ordering the "Bumblebee Performance" robot toy on its official website on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 9:00 am. The special pre-order price is 49,950 yen (including tax), and the general sales price is 59,950 yen (including tax).

Bumblebee" is a popular character from the "Transformers" series, which was first released in the U.S. in 1984, followed by the hit anime and comic series.

The "Bumblebee Performance," which is now available for purchase, incorporates 45 microchips and 17 servo motors developed exclusively for the character. The walking algorithm optimized for Bumblebee Performance allows the walking speed to be adjusted in two steps.

An internal gyroscope detects Bumblebee's current posture in real time, enabling Bumblebee to perform challenging one-legged squats, side kicks, sit-ups, and more.

In addition, if Bumblebee falls over, it has an automatic get-up function that allows it to automatically return to its original position.

Two programming functions are available: manual programming, which allows users to customize actions while directly moving Bumblebee, and block-based programming, which can be intuitively operated by drag-and-drop on the application.
In addition, the mini-theater function allows users to enjoy interactions with the already released "Flagship Optimus Prime" and "Elite Optimus Prime.
