Akita Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd. released today, July 31, 2023 (Mon.), the first issue of "Gravure Champion," a new gravure magazine presented by the Weekly Shonen Champion editorial department.

Kyoko Saito of Hyuhizaka46 graces the cover of "Gravure Champion" VOL.1, the first issue of the new gravure magazine presented by the Weekly Shonen Champion editorial department. The magazine's first issue will be published in the summer and will feature Kyonko on the cover.

In addition to a new photo shoot titled "This Summer, I'm Flying," the magazine also includes rare and carefully selected unpublished cuts from all 10 of her previous appearances in "Weekly Shonen Champion.

It also includes a long interview in which she talks about her memories of "Weekly Champion," her current girlfriend, and her future girlfriend. The magazine also comes with a double-sided poster, making it a truly special feature on Kyoko Saito.

And the special feature at the end of the magazine features Aya Ogawa, who won the Shukuchan Media Award at the audition for the 5th term students of Nogizaka46.

The other lineup in VOL. 1 includes Rina Watanabe, winner of the Shukuchan Media Award at the Hyuugaizaka46 4th term student audition, and Usaki from #BabaBambi. And popular voice actors Kaori Maeda and Mayu Sagara. The book will also include previously unreleased cuts from the Shukuchan collaboration [Enako x Baki / Moe Iori x Momogen Ankyo], which was a big hit in Shukuchan magazine.

First of all, congratulations!

This is the first time for me to be on the cover of the first issue, so I am so happy and surprised. I'm not sure if it's okay for me to be on the cover, or not. And I'm really, really honored that it's the first issue of my favorite magazine, Weekly Shonen Champion, which was the first magazine I ever graced the cover of as a solo cover.
