Episode 1 synopsis and scene photos from the 2019 winter anime "Magical Girl Special Battle Asuka" have been released!

The TV anime "Magical Girl Special Battle Asuka," which will start airing on January 11, has revealed its first episode synopsis and scene photos.

Magical Girl Special Battle Asuka" is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same title, written by Makoto Fukami and drawn by Seigo Kokuya, which is serialized in the monthly magazine "Big Gangan" (published by Square Enix). The story follows a group of magical girls who save the human race from a monster invasion.
The TV anime is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto of the "Strike the Blood" series, with series composition by Makoto Fukami and Norimitsu Kaiho, character design by Yoko Suzuki, and music by R.O.N. Animation production is handled by Leiden Film, creators of "LOST SONG".

The first episode synopsis and scene photos have been released for the series, which will begin airing sequentially on January 11 on BS-TBS, AT-X, and CBC, starting with MBS and TBS.

In addition, a large "Magical Girl Special Battle Asuka" transportation advertisement is currently being displayed at major Tokyo Metro stations. The ads will be displayed until January 13, so be sure to check them out.
